Gods angel : you have woke up, bless your little heart. Just start reading your Bible from Genesis to Revelation. In which the whole is called a book . Do yourselves a favour, Use a good NIV translation study Bible. John MacArthur I think has a NIV translation printed out. Or online if you can. It should not take you more than a couple of weeks to just read it. After that start over again and study it. You in for a BIG surprise. God has got your attention. LOL you will get your answer.
They were not innocent at all. They were doing many abominable things like sacrificing their children to demons, practising witchcraft and all manners of sin. God used Israel as judgment on them for not repenting of their wickedness.
