BTW: The Gadarenes weren't Gentiles. They were descendants of one of the tribes
of Israel that chose to settle on the east side of the Jordan river instead of west.

The tribes of Gad, Manasseh, and Rueben chose to settle on the east side of the
Jordan river (Num 32:33). Had they not done so; Jesus wouldn't have journeyed thru
that area.
