Who was Jesus praying to?

“And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:”

“And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”

“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

John 17:3- And this is eternal life, that they know thee the ONLY true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

John 17:3- And this is eternal life, that they know thee the ONLY true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

For your benefit, I do suggest you read the sites Statement of Faith.

If you do a search, you'll find quite a few threads on the subject of the Trinity.
Hopefully, by doing so, you'll find most of your questions/positions have been covered.

I do not care WHAT you believe unless Christian.
Jesus NEVER taught the Trinity.

Jesus NEVER taught the Trinity.
I guess it really depends on what you consider a Christian as being.
Jesus didn't have to. So, you believe in only what Jesus taught?

1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1 John 5:19- We know that we are of God, and the whole world is in the power of the evil one.
20- And we know that the son of God has come and has given us understanding, to know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

So
I do not care WHAT you believe unless Christian.
Jesus NEVER taught the Trinity.
Which do you not believe in the Father? or the Son? or the Holy Spirit??

Is not the word trinity mean the state of being three??

So which do you not believe in??

Which do you claim jesus denied himself? The Father? or the Holy Spirit? cause I don't ever remember hearing him deny none of them..

And we can see what kind of fruits you producing.. you don't care that your walking in muddy waters you just want to be right??

I'm j.s.

One God three persons. Not three gods.

God sends His power- the holy spirit, not another God.

God sends His power- the holy spirit, not another God.
1Co 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

The Holy Spirit is a Who.. not a what.

Joh_7:39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Joh_14:17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
Joh_14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
Joh_15:26 "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,
Act_5:32 "And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him."

So was Christ praying to Both God (or whatever) at the same time?

God sends His power- the holy spirit, not another God.
So your saying jesus wasn't part of God? You don't believe He is the son? You don't believe He is the Living Word the Word of God in the flesh??

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

Both the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are "one" as they dwell within each other.

They are not the same person. They are one God.

Do you have a family? It's one family, not multiple families. Do you talk to people in your family?
God can talk to God. The Father and Son aren't the same person. They are the same God.
