Who Was Home-schooled?

I was home-schooled from the 8th grade until graduation. I absolutely loved it and have no regrets when I look back. Who else was home-schooled? What did you think of the experience?

My husband was home schooled from grades 4-12. I really enjoyed it. We are planning to home school our children when the time comes.

I home-schooled my daughter (which isn't popular here in the UK). I don't regret it either and wish more people would do it.

I don't think the majority of children benefit from home-schooling but the odd few, who do not thrive in a regular school environment for one reason or another, do!

I live with my grandfather and younger sister, so he doesnt have the
health to home school me. Although I wish I could, that or take classes online so I wouldnt have to go to school at all. I have no problems learning, it is
just the kids that make it hard. When kids make a child want to learn at home, there must be something wrong huh? :sweating:

I want to ask though, what is it about homeschooling that makes it
a better alternative? I never have been and I would like to know some
about it
