Perhaps I misunderstood you.

You suggested that The Holy Spirit was the Father: to which I quoted Acts 2:32-33, which says that the risen Christ ' ... received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost ... ', which appears to negate that suggestion. Yet God is spirit, and God is One, so the Holy Spirit is God, yes? Regardless of the terminology which divides God into The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. Though He is all three, and all three are Him.

Here I am trying to express the inexpressible, and trying to force my finite mind into formulating words to express the infinite. Which is an impossible task. God in His mercy and grace has given us what is understandable, in order to enable us to understand: by providing 'The Father', 'The Son', and 'The Holy Spirit. Three identifiable identities to describe The Person, Will and Purpose of Himself, The One Almighty God.

Forgive me, I am treading on holy ground.

I just want to know. how much experience you have on this matter. It seems you have more than me. I have over 40 years. And only GOD knows how many hours of Study I have on The "SPIRIT of GOD" Stewardship. alone. because i wanted to know 1st hand.
And one thing i did find out on my own. That a "Finite mind" can never comprehend the Incomprehensible and The "HOLY SPIRIT" of GOD is "Infinite" and no way a "Finite" mind can comprehend the "Infinite" because The Infinite is "Incomprehensible" by a "finite" mind. [did i get that right]?

Then later on when I reach my 40's and finally got to one of the church fathers, "Tertullian" and observed His penmanship on "The Trinity" and study his concept The Triune GOD, and at the end of the day he came to to the same conclusion i came to, concerning The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD. Which i have listed here in this conversation post. And then i went on, because it was settle and I was happy in my soul and i move on to higher ground and i ain't going 30 years back and Pressing on. i been there and gone! Light years away. But one day when this Mortal puts on Immortality i am to move up into the reveal of GOD. every moment throughout Eternity.

When I am reading the word of God I can feel immense gratitude to God for His unfailing love and grace, for His faithfulness. That is a feeling that I believe He does engender. He also convicts of sin and of righteousness, and chastens us, and can make us feel wretched on times. For He is treating us as sons of God, His rod and staff are a comfort to us, for the word of God, in His hands, is being wielded for our good.. He uses it to wash us from the effects of the world we live in day to day.

He can bring great joy, and a peace that passes all understanding, and quicken us into life, inspiring great confidence in God our Saviour. He takes of the things of Christ and makes them ours. He lifts us up and stays our minds on things above. He also reminds us of the pit from whence we were hewn, that we never forget what He has saved us from.

He magnifies Christ, and is self-effacing. He rescues and He saves. Separating flesh from spirit and enabling us to distinguish one from the other. He makes straight paths for our feet and lightens our paths. He strengthens our faith and establishes us in the way of righteousness.

I am so grateful for this aspect of the Holy Spirit's work, for I do not know what to pray for as I ought.

And He (the Holy Spirit) knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

What is, ' ... the mind of the Spirit ... '? I believe a look at the use of this word, 'mind', in Romans 8:6-7, reveals this:-

' For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death;
but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law of God,
neither indeed can be.

Not until we have this 'spirit' or 'new nature', have we true, real, Divine, eternal 'life'; and not till then can we know what is true 'peace.' It is peace with God (Romans 5:1).
