I don't disagree with the scripture, but I always look to this verse which speaks of something more important than either knowledge or faith:@amadeus2 Knowledge is just as important as faith is, wisdom can save you from evil ways and so keep you on the narrow path (Proverbs 2:9-11). He tells us everything we need to know mostly through His word, if we just let Him guide us into truth.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." I Cor 13:2
I believe [by faith] that our faith correctly applied by the lead of the Holy Spirit will eventually become knowledge. Did Jesus as a man during those 33½ years live by faith or by knowledge? Are we not to be like Him?
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Heb 12:2
That looks to me like the end of faith. Jesus is the one that makes it possible for us to get there.
