I'm a grandfather with four brothers and no sisters, three daughters and no sons (talk about having to catch up on what makes girls tick!) and three granddaughters. I was baptized as an adult. I've had no formal Bible training, just listening to sermons both in person and on line, attending Sunday school, and of course reading and re-reading the Bible. As an engineer I have approached the Bible from a "logical" point of view and found just it as relevant today as it was when written by 1st century Christians as well as the Jewish scholars before them. In spite of no formal training I have developed an insight into Biblical teaching that has impressed even our church elders.

When my mom died my dad starting dating about six months later. He was clueless, having married at age 21 and widowed over 60 years later with no daughters to learn from. I wrote a list of four basic rules men need to follow dealing with girls in their lives. They worked real well for him. Others I have sent them to, male or female, have all responded very positively to them. The rules apply equally well for girls who are relatives, or for our wive/fiancée/girlfriend, or are just friends/acquaintances. Anyone wanting this list (and it is biblically based) can send a request to [email protected].

About five years ago I began researching in some detail end time events, and after about 3 or so months wrote a white paper that is easy to understand but very certain as to its outcome. In my research I found that there are actually two Jewish calendars, the civil calendar and the more accurate but hidden Torah calendar. Usually the Torah calendar specifies Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, a whole lunar cycle later than the civil calendar. But this year 2025 both calendars specify September 23 & 24th. And by the way, when I was researching this, I was unable with simple Google searches to find any dates for Rosh Hashanah past 2025. It was as if it wasn't that important anymore. I'm not saying this is conclusive, but it is very interesting. I can pass this out to anyone wanting it at the email address above.

nah, it's obvious by now especially with "thoughtcrime" being real haha.
lol zohar
I hope I see you in Heaven, too :)

Hello @larryPTL
Welcome to Talk Jesus an online community of Jesus Christ believers.
I hope you will find fellowship and of course growth in God's Word while you are here.
One suggestion is to not post your e-mail address in open forum. If you correspond with others via Private Message (PM) it might be the better avenue by which to communicate such information like your e-mail address.

With that being said welcome again to Talk Jesus.
With the Love of Christ Jesus.
