I would think the reigning Holy Spirit of Christ will leave like a thief in the night on the last day under the Sun

Bill, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this subject. Yes, those who are of biblical faith in Jesus Christ, who have been circumcised of the heart by faith in Jesus Christ, are biblical Israel. And yes, it is not a place.

Gothedral, Yes, Israel today is the children of God by God-persuaded faith in Jesus Christ. We are those who have died with Christ to sin and who are now walking in obedience to his commands, by faith in the Lord Jesus, in the power of God, and not of human flesh. Yes, we are the spiritual body of Christ, His holy church, those who have been redeemed (bought back for God) by the blood of Jesus out of our lives of living in sin and for self into walks of obedience to our Lord in holy living. Yes, it is not a physical location and not a synagogue of Satan and not people who deny Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and Messiah and who worship the gods of this world, instead.
