The kingdom of God is within our hearts (Luke 17:21). It is the spirit of Jesus which is unconditional, selfless, sacrificial, merciful, humble, ever-forgiving and faithful. This spirit is instilled in every human heart (Ezekiel 36:27) through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Those who make him the Lord of their life by accepting his spirit (Romans 10:9), are enabled by the spirit to love their enemies, do good to those who hurt and betray them, offer the other cheek if struck on one, give without expecting anything in return, bring healing to their offenders by their prayers and acts of sacrificial love (Matthew 5:43-48), consider others as superior to them, seek the interest of others over their own (Philippians 2:3-4) and stay faithful to their marriage vows even when there is hurt and unfaithfulness (Luke 6:18 & Hosea 3:1).

The kingdom of God is wherever God the King is.

I am curious why you do not capitalize spirit in "spirit of Jesus". The Spirit/spirit of Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the same Person.

GOD is three parts as He made us ,But Only one person [Being] They are in perfect unity ,because they are one being.

The Kingdom of God is where He has perfect 100% control. He does not have that control over this planet. But He does over our New creature. Our spirit. That why it part of His kingdom.

God can of course take control over anything He wants. Because He alone is Creator. But He not doing it all right now. He allowed evil junk here , til He finishes what He doing.

Which is gaining a family made just like Jesus to rule the kingdom under HIM.

Listen just my thinking. but I do not doubt He has all kinds of things He Created we cannot even dream about. We are pretty well programmed to judge things as we see them here? But He has things far beyond anything we could make up .

We have a very hard time Believing we could get a new arm or leg or any healing or doing any of the works He did.

Not sure why we are all so low in faith. I know i know lots yet I still appear to be Lacking LOTS.

Even after most of us have seen Great miracles in our lives and others. we still seem to doubt at times. I know i do and have.

I know ,yet I seem to doubt ? It does not make any sense? I guess that why I Do not trust my own thinking. I must count on Him most of the Time.

I had miracles that are beyond anything natural. I do not know how I was able to do it? At that moment. I knew i could do something Against the laws of natural. How i knew IT. I can only say the Holy Ghost Had to reveal at that moment. But if i tried again ,unless He revealed at the moment. No doubt it would be impossible.

I know even in the flesh, we are lots more than we understand . Maybe it better we Do not know so much? We might hurt each other?

Still we can always pray His perfect will be done. and Not our lowly thinking.

Some want His power for them selves. They never get it. It must always be for His glory and Honor and never our.

Everything we do Must be For HIM . It cannot be for religions or pastors or popes or anything else. We Give our selves to Him 100% and all we have at Salvation. We Only belong to Him.

I think in the catching away ? Many will be left because it was not for Him they lived and worked. Hope i am wrong?

Hi arunangelo: Where is the Kingdom of God? When Jesus said in Luke 17:21, "For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst." To get a clear understanding of what Jesus meant, it is helpful to look at the context of the conversation. In the preceding verse, Jesus was being questioned "by the Pharisees as to 'when' the kingdom of God was coming." (Luke 17:20) Was Jesus actually suggesting that the Kingdom of God was within the hearts of these wicked religious leaders who Jesus had condemned several times? Clearly not! So what was Jesus talking about.

Firstly, remember the account in Matthew 20:21, the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus asking "Command that in Your kingdom these two sons of mine may sit one on Your right and one on Your left." That is a strange thing to ask if the Kingdom was within someone? In fact, Jesus did promise his 11 faithful apostles that they would be in his Kingdom and "sit on thrones" and "judge" with him in his kingdom. (Luke 22:30)

The reason why she asked this was, secondly, because the Jews believed and were hoping for a literal kingdom government from God will rule over them. Shortly before Passover 33 C.E. when Jesus was entering Jerusalem riding a colt, the crowd welcomed him and some cried out: "to the Son of David! 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'" (Matthew 21:9) Why did they cry this? They had come to recognize that Jesus was the promised Messiah and that "the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end." (Luke 1:32, 33; Zechariah 9:9) They longed for the salvation, peace, and justice that the Kingdom would bring.

Thirdly, at Jesus' execution, a criminal impaled alongside him pleaded: "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." (Luke 23:42, 43) That robber evidently believed that after being raised from the dead, Jesus would enter into a Kingdom in heaven where he would sit at the right hand of his father. (Acts 2:34)

Finally, this kingdom is clearly referred to in the old testament as a literal ruling kingdom. Daniel 2:44, states: "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever." Then Isaiah 9:6, 7, says: "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this."

So, considering what the bible teaches, the kingdom is a real government that Jesus will be the king of, and it will rule over the earth during his millennial rule. (Revelation 20:7, 8)

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Earth is not God's kingdom yet, but it will be as soon as He chooses to take it from Satan at the middle of the tribulation when the 7 th trumpet blows Revelation 11:15.

That's incorrect. The Holy Spirit and Jesus are not the same persons. Father, Son, Holy Spirit = Trinity.

I did not say they were. I said the "Spirit of Jesus" and the "Holy Spirit" are the same. Unless we believe there are two Spirits?

In the bible the "Spirit of Jesus" is capitalized "S", and it refers to the Holy Spirit:

Phil 1:19 for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

It took me the longest time to understand that the Word was a part of GOD. I just could not understand we see JESUS as a mere man .Yet He is GOD come into the flesh .
That God is three parts . That they are not three different GOD or persons or beings.

I suffered lots trying to understand this. In our flesh thinking lots do not make sense. Just as How God can give a part of His own being to millions of others to dwell in them forever more.

But I know the Word , Was with GOD and In God before anything was ever created. And the word became flesh and d welled among us. The word of course is our LORD JESUS.

Joh_16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Now the question becomes? Did HE come out of GOD own being? Or just from heaven?

Was the Word Created or was it part of GOD?
What I believe is this?
In the flesh Jesus Christ was truly the Son of God. Not only Son but Only begotten Son. Meaning He alone came out of GOD.
He was in God and some how though the Power of God [Holy Ghost] He put Jesus inside Mary to grow as a baby . And Jesus had a normal baby mind and had to learn everything just as we do. But His Spirit was always a part of the Creator .

God given 100% power to Jesus to do anything He wants . But we see also? The word [Jesus] Only has done the Father God perfect will 100%

Our lives forever are in our LORD JESUS CHRIST. We dwell in Him and of Him Forever more.

I Believe God the Father GOD the Word and God the Holy Ghost are all just one being. But each part of God is doing different things as a different purpose to do the Same perfect desire.

It really something that many get very upset about? Because many see it differently? And none want to see it wrong. I mean if we really love truth?

I believe GOD is three parts as He made us .but only one person . We are not three different people and God is not three different Gods.

But we do worship God though our Lord Jesus because that the part of God who died for us and is our savior. That why we pray or cast out devils or whatever miracles ,They are always in the name of our LORD JESUS.

As long as You accept Jesus Christ as Lord and his cross as truth ? Then I count you brother or Sister and count that as the bond.

We do all things as unto JESUS for His glory and Honor.

1Ti_3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Php_2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Joh_14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Joh_6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Joh_1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1Jn_5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Tit_2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Joh_16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

I do not mind others do not agree with this. Or see it a bit differently. I count the bond Jesus Christ and His cross.
We just Must accept JESUS CHRIST as Lord from our heart and believe He died on the cross and rose again .

Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
