If we confess our sins to God and ask forgiveness, he looks at the cleansing blood that Jesus shed on the cross, and that is the payment for our sins.
we must continue to strive against sin. We must not forget that Jesus took our place so we wouldn't be punished for sin.

We must remember he had to be without sin in order to remove ours.
Sin is offensive to a holy God but he knows we are weak and need his forgiveness. We must be sincere in our apologies.

and "If we confess our sins HE is faithful and just to forgive us those sins and to wash us clean of them..." restoring us to being the righteousness of GOD in HIS anointing.

And no human can condemn us when we walk in HIS anointing. (When we walk in LOVE)

Well, they can and do as they also condemned Jesus, Himself, but such condemnation holds no weight (in the eyes of God) against the man who is in that anointing.

People or the World will always find reason to condemn those who believe. That includes those who profess to be of the body that would attempt to deceive.

Yesterday I went to a reunion for volunteers of Tribulation Trail. I worked the Trail for ten years. They stopped having it last year. 2010 was the last one. I was real excited to have a time of fellowship with some mighty awesome people. I got to spend time with a few people that I dearly loved. But for the most part, my most favorite folks were not there. : (

Anyway, at my table was this guy I had never met. He had worked the trail for seven years but our paths never crossed. He even did a scene that I was once in. I was in that scene in 2000 he joined that scene in 2003 when I was working tech in another scene.

I go to Eagles Landing First Baptist Church. I have been going there since 2006. It is a great church and when I am not able to attend in person, I can watch it online. My pastor is my friend on facebook and my sunday school teacher is too. I am not "unchurched". But since it is quite a drive to get there (17 miles) and I do not have a job, I can't pay for the gas to get there and have not physically been to "church" since last Christmas eve (communion service).

Additionally, I take care of my aging mother. She lives two hours away and I drive there twice a week to take care of her needs. She gave me a credit card for the gas with the stipulation that it is only for my coming and goings related to her stuff like grocery shopping for the things she needs and for the meals I prepare for her etc.

One more point before I get to my point regarding this thread... My mother prefers that one of the two days that I go to her house be Sunday. It is her preference.

Soooooo.. in talking about where we go to church with the guy at the table, he got all pious and in his tirade was spewing judgement left and right. He even said "If your mother told you to jump off a cliff. would you?"...

I went all Dixie Carter on him.. I did..

It dawned on me that y'all may not know the "Dixie Carter" reference.. She played one of the women on the television show "Designing Women" and was known to have a very sharp tongue and could chew you up and spit you out before you knew what hit you.

At the table when the guy thought church attendance was more important than taking care of my elderly mother, I asked him.. "are you willing to come get me every Sunday and take me to Church?". He didn't answer but the look on his face was "uh?"

Then as I was gathering my plate and stuff and stood up to leave, I said "When you are willing to put your MONEY and your TIME where your mouth is, THEN we would have something to discuss"

So in my opinion, there is absolutely no condemnation in Christ Jesus especially when you are doing exactly what God has called YOU to do. And if you speak ill of my mother, I might go all "Dixie Carter" on you too..

LOL I run into that all the time. I have not been into a church building in almost twenty years. That is not to say I have no fellowship. I have lots of fellowship and worship with other believers. Lots of excellent teaching too. Oops Change that. I was in Ft Worth about ten years ago and I went to church at Eagle Mountain International Church there. It was wonderful. So many Christians get on me for not going to a church close by, saying that I'm in sin etc. GOD on the other hand teaches us, blesses us and uses us all the time.
Christians they say are the only army on the planet that eats its own wounded. So? Never let that get you down. Walk in LOVE. Heap coals upon their heads by meeting condemnation with LOVE. They can't seem to figure out how to deal with that. LOL

Tiz very true. They did that to me too in the early eighties. I had a thyroid collapse and when I got out of the hospital, I got ready to go back to work. The 'brothers' told me, "Oh You shouldn't be going back to work yet!" I asked them "Well ok. You can support my family till I am strong enough to go back" LOL You should have seen the dust cloud as they lit out of there.. Poor folks...They lost a wonderful chance to be blessed. And I went back to work.

The friend I had gone there with and I were talking about it and her thoughts were that the guy had poor social skills and maybe he was so dogmatic about it because his mother may need his help and he is not doing what he should for her.

Kinda like the two guys in the parable of the good Samaritan that went past the man in need because "church" was more important. I think it is quite interesting that the Good Samaritan did take the time and used his own money to help the guy the robbers left for dead.

Keep in mind though. You can speak your mind and speak in love too. What you said was not unkind in itself. Was there a bad attitude coming out?

as Hombre said earlier, stay under the anointing. then there is no condemnation. In Matt. 5: blessed are the peacemakers for theirs is the kingdom of God. The kingdom within you is the anointing. The rest of Rom.8:1 ends with---who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. I'm sure if Paul mentions the wife can win the husband by a meek and quiet spirit and Jesus says the meek shall inherit the earth, Then we can live peaceable with all men. Sometimes forgiveness to those who do us wrong will be applicable to immediacy. My personal joy was having the Holy Spirit giving me a word for the moment. God wants us to love our enemies and turn them from darkness to light. I speak in love.

Jesus was always kind to all the outcasts,lowlifes and even Roman soldiers.
He did however occasionally go all "Dixie Carter" on the those who claimed to be righteous through rituals and formulas though.
