When the pressure takes over

We all go through many types of pressures in life . Indeed , what we go through is nothing compared to Jesus's suffering and death on the cross .

When things get rough , I used to ask God ... Why ?
Now I understand ...
Jesus speaks to us in many special ways . He loves us . He sends to us the Holy Spirit to comfort us and to lead us in the truth .

God uses life's pressure to bring out the goodness and sweetness of Christlike character in us .
God doesn't shield us from life's storms ; He shelters us in life's storms.( had taken them from ODB / April2006)

He guides us through different situations we find ourselves in, so that we can learn by it.
Jesus is a very special friend :love:

Could anyone explain to me what does the battle mean?

Does it mean we have to put the armour of God to fight Satan and his angels?

"The battle" refers to the spiritual warfare being waged arouind us continually by Satan and his demons. And it is a darned good idea to keep the full armor of God on all the time to deflect the enemy's fiery darts of temptation, discouragement, confusion, doubt, etc. etc. etc.
