'But why dost thou judge thy brother?@PloughBoy said:-
When we get to The “Bema Seat” of GOD”, To say, Forgive me, Too Late. To say, I am sorry, Too late. To say, I Didn’t know, Too late, be careful it might be another Lie.
“Why did you call me “LORD LORD” and You didn’t do, what I Said”
Can we be “Justified”, by saying we didn’t know?
Who knows what will take place at The Judgment Seat of Christ, and I am Not Addressing or referring to The Place, concerning “Salvation”.
But The Seat of Judgment Concerning The LORDSHIP to a (disobedient) Slave [Servant]. For we ALL Must Appear Before The Judgment Seat of Christ. For What We Have Done! WHETHER Good or BAD.
Who knows what Will Transpire At That Place. Will there Be A “Purification” taken Place, Will HE “Purify” us with A “Purifying Fire”, Will it Hurt? What does our “Garments of Soul looks like now, Do they appear as liken unto “The High Priest” which appeared before The Throne.
Will, or as The “Dross”, pertaining to “Purification” burns off, How Long, or How Much, must Burn Off, Before, we come forth, as “Pure Gold”
How Much, Must The Fire of GOD burns, Will it Depend, How Much “DROSS” is in Our Soul? For will it Take Hours or Earth like Years, and We do know, To GOD, One Moment, Can be a “Thousand” years of A Burning to “Purifications” of one person’s End.
Oh, do we really know, how Precious and Complicated is The Salvation of Our Soul.
Do we really Think, it only Takes The Magical Wave of A Magician’s Magical Wand to Create A “New Creature in Christ Jesus” in “Completion” and to enter into a “Adoption of GOD with Full Inheritance, a Shared Inheritance with “The Only SON of The LIVING GOD”.
In Full Benefits, That Is Way Beyond A Mortals or An Angelic Mind.
These Benefits Cannot Be Told, The Capacity is Beyond ALL, even all Eternity, where there is No End.
We are, we will be “Holy And Sanctified”
As We Appear before Him, The Dross Will Burn off.
“It Is A Fearful Thing To Stand Before [Fall into The Hands] of GOD ALMIGHTY!
“For Our GOD is A Consuming Fire”
He will accomplish HIS Work In Us.
Without Fire, There Cannot Be A “Purification”
“And we must not Consider it, Strange” But only Beneficial for The Completeness of Our “Sanctification” created in “Christ Jesus” Our “LORD”.
or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat (Bema - G968) of Christ.'
(Rom 14:10)
'For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done,
whether it be good or bad.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
but we are made manifest unto God;
and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.'
(2 Cor. 5:10-11)
Hello @PloughBoy,
Though no redeemed Child of God will come under condemnation, for he is justified and acquitted completely and for ever. Paul spoke of standing before a righteous judge (2 Timothy 4:8):-
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge,
shall give me at that day:
and not to me only,
but unto all them also that love His appearing.'
(2 Timothy 4:7)
* This is not a judge in a court of law, not a judge who passes sentence, but a judge who awards a crown. For the believer there is no condemnation, it is not sin that is the subject of the Bema, but the 'award' or 'forfeiture' of a prize or crown (2 Timothy 4:7). In 2 Timothy 4:7 the word 'fight' (agona) is translated 'race' in Hebrews 12:1, and the word, 'course' is 'dromos', a place where contestants 'run':-
'Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about
with so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight,
and the sin which doth so easily beset us,
and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.'
(Heb 12:1-2)
* Each believer is considered as running a race, the object is to endure to the end, and reward is given on the basis of, 'Whatsoever a man soweth, that shal he also reap.'
'Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth,
the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.'
(Eph 6:8)
'And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:
for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done:
and there is no respect of persons.'
(Col 3:23-25)
'He that planteth and he that watereth are one' in standing and redemption: but each 'shall receive his own reward according to his own labour' at the Bema.
* In Philippians 1:10, Paul prays for the believer, that he may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ', for the day of Christ includes the judgment of the believer's service, as one who should be walking in newness of life before the Father.
* The foundation upon which we stand is sure, for it is Christ Himself, what will be put to the test is what we have built on that foundation, which will bring either reward or loss (1 Corinthians 3:10-15): the believers salvation is sure, but he can suffer loss.
Thank you
In Christ Jesus
