For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.' Matthew 25:35-36 NLT

It’s easy to think of romantic love on February 14. But Valentine was not the originator of love, and romantic love is not the same love that God gives you. In His commitment to you, He looks at how you respond to other people.

Could God say to you the words Jesus spoke in the verses above? They were spoken as part of a story He told of a future time. Jesus told His disciples that whenever His family did any of these things for any other person, it was as if they were doing it for Him. He placed a high premium on loving others enough to help them.

Being unshakable means you’re decisive. You don’t have to guess if you should love people enough to help them. When you model God for people who need to meet Him, they might want to meet Him.

Prayer: God, You want me to show love and compassion to the people around me. You help me and You want me to help others. Give me a heart to do just that.

Wow I agree with everything you say and more
there are times if all you do is help a single mother in the church without being asked..
The Angels rejoice :-) :-)
