Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, “Rabbi, is it I?” He said to him, “You have said it.” Matthew 26:25 NKJV
Is there anything we can learn from this poor, tragic guy's life?
When things aren't looking good, not going well, blessings are not happening, only sadness and no joy; who's to blame?
Maybe it's the Church, my church, the minister/ pastor/ vicar, the deacons, the moderators. I think it's all their fault because they're not Christ identical (rather than Christlike). Maybe if they upped their game, then my life would be so much richer. Easy to blame isn't it?
Well if that's how you feel then you might profit by having an honest debate with yourself, asking the same question that Judas asked: 'Is it I?'
Is there anything in your heart, your head or your life that's blocking God's blessings or the experience and joy of really knowing Him? Ask God to reveal and help you to deal with that blockage.
When you realise that the problem lies with you and not others, unlike Judas, don't just accept it but rather deal with it and if you can't, ask God to give you 'extra Holy Spirit' to overcome it. Do it now, don't just come to terms and accept it - deal with it.
May God bless you and give you a lovely rest of the week.

Oh dear Lord God, I came to you with an urgent and pressing need and you graciously accepted me into your wonderful loving family. Since then I've wasted to become more and more like your precious son Jesus but lately that process has stalled and I think it's because......
Lord please, let me work with your Holy Spirit to deal with and overcome this problem so that I can be more like Jesus and be a more effective son/daughter, working for your glory and honour.
Amen.
