My friend, do not take that to heart and do not let someone else judge you or your son by their limited experience. Everyone dies and that is a fact. For us believers it is a sure promotion, for those that are left behind the going is rough but we know that we will see them again. Every time I feel grief over the personal loss of a loved one we should stop and thank our Father that they are with Him and that we will see them again. We never lose anything we trust in Jesus hands. Our son was a believer and had a close relationship with God. He believed God was going to heal him..we KNOW that "by His stripes we are healed..." we spoke only scripture between ourselves and never doubted that God had a big miracle in store for us. The rest of the "we" was family, friends and several church bodies who were all praying and believing. I am just trying to reconcile myself to the outcome, and naturally I am grieving and missing him. I hate it that other Christians infer that something was wrong with your faith or there was sin present or whatever. This makes THEM feel better, but really twists the knife in the heart of the one who has suffered the loss. To me, that is the worst form of judging.
My 44 year old son Daniel passed away Oct. 11 from pulmonary fibrosis. Right up till the second of his death, we all, including him, believed that God would heal him.
How do we turn for comfort to the One who could have spared us pain but chose not to?
your son was 44 years old.... so who is the We that were believing......
What exactly do you believe about healing.
You said God could have spared you the Pain, but Choose not to......
The scripture says that by his Stripes we are healed. That is something Already done.......... Not something God is going to choose to do.
There are lots of reasons loved ones die.......... your son was 44 years old and should have his own relationship with God..
I was told my son at 8 was going to die of cancer.. That he would not make it the next day.... ha ha devil... The devil is not that big...
However, I am not responsible for my son receiving healing now. He has to believe on his own... He has to have that relationship with God.
Your tongue acts like a rudder of a ship... the moment something happens, what you speak sets the course of that thing. Sometimes, you can't get it turned around quick enough....Jesus said you have what you say....
Also, not following the plan of God can cause a early death... I have seen it more than once.........
So........ It's not God's fault here. It's not your fault, and it's good that you did believe something. This is between God and your son, and you will see him soon enough, because he did not die... He just left his earth suite.....
you don't know everything......... and even if the Lord does not show us what happened......... we can still have confidence that God can still be trusted, and his Word does not fail............
Jesus Is Lord
