No @gracedfaith

No one knows the hour. You're misinterpreting Revelation, and Scripture. You claim it's the year 2029. That's nonsense and you have no biblical proof. Furthermore, you're wasting your time and everyone else's time on something that is not the core focus on what we as saints and servants should be doing. Spreading the Gospel. Not fictitious claims about Christ returning in the year 2029.
No one knows the hour of what? Matt. 24.35 says the end of the world, not Jesus' return. The Biblical proof was already given in the opening post which you didn't challenge. That's ok if you don't want to deal with it but the Bible does deal with it and tells us not only is the Tribulation after Rev. 6.12 (after 2010-15), but that Jesus steps down on the mount of olives in the year of the "sign of the Son of Man" (Matt. 24.30), and we know what that sign is in the year 2029. All the word of God is good for edification not just the gospel itself.

You are really mis-informed and mis-guided.
1. If you are a true "Born Again" Christian and still alive when he returns, believe me, you will know what's going on.
2. But being able to predict the day and year is advance is not Biblical and is"horse-hocky".
3. Since you, or what ever cult you belong to are so bold and skilled to predict the year, I believe you said 2029, why haven't you so boldly predicted the hour?
4. To watch and to know is to be Christian and know what's going on...it's the non-believer who will be in denial and totally lost.
5. Since, you say you are a "true" Born Again Christian, I tell you what hour and day you should know!!!!...it is the hour and day that Jesus enetered your body and you were born again.
6, Do you know or remember the day and hour you were saved, are you a true Christian?......I know and I am confident that I am Christian!
1. Of course you will know it is Jesus when He returns if you are a saint that's why knowing the day and hour of when Jesus returns is something someone knows before He returns even years in advance as is the case now.
2. The year of when Jesus steps down on the mount of olives was already proven in the opening post which you are free to shut your mind down to, but God gives it for edification.
3. I believe the hour can be predicted though I do not have that information now. That would be much more challenging than just the year itself. He will step down somewhere between Tisha B'Av and Day of Atonement. He steps down on the 1260th day of the Great Tribulation, judges the nations for 30 days more to the 1290th day then for 45 days more to the 1335th day sets up Israel as the center of all nations.
4. Matt. 24.40-42 says to watchful speaking to Christians, so some Christians are obviously not watchful and thus, would not know when Jesus returns. But of course when He returns they will know Him.
5. I know the month and year of when I was born again, but I don't remember what day of the week that was or the day of that month or time of the day. I think most Christians know the month and year, but forget to write down the day and hour.

So you are a Born Again Christian, would you mind explaining how that happened and how you feel about that day?

So you say you have the power to know the day but you quote verses in Matthew that says you won't know the day....you're not very credible gracedfaith!

Sorry, nice try but you don't have a clue. A watchful Christian is not the main point here in Matthew, what you have here is the description of a saved Christian believer as compared to a non-believer. The Christian is gathered with the rest of the believers and the unbeliever is left behind and not raptured.
I am a Christian and therefore a watcher for Christ's return, I pray that you are too!

You are so out of touch gracedfaith. In these Matthew verses, watchful and unwatchful are not both Christian. The watchful are believers and true Christian, the unwatchful are unbelievers and not Christian,

I am not much on divining prophecies. The human imagination is too fickle a thing to trust in this. The words, " I am coming as a thief in the night," is enough for me to remain vigilant by the actions I take.

Christ made it clear to be prepared and stand in wait. Other than that, I think is purely a waste of time. I've heard over the years pople calling themselves preachers putting a date to the end of times and they have made a fool of themselves and brought ridicule to the faith. I think we have been given a task and parimeters to guide us. Going beyond that I think interferes more than aids.

I agree completely. I think God wants us to tell, preach or othewise show others about the gospel of salvation by grace in hopes that they approach God for his free gift.

Luke 17:20; Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed;
Luke 17:21; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."
Luke 17:22; And He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
Luke 17:23; "They will say to you, 'Look there! Look here!' Do not go away, and do not run after them.
Luke 17:24; "For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

Matt 24:37; "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.
Matt 24:38; "For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
Matt 24:39; and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Matt 24:40; "Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.
Matt 24:41; "Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Matt 24:42; "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.

Luke 17:26; "And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
Luke 17:27; they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:34; "I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.

Luke 17:35; "There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left.

Matt 24:36; "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Mark 13:32; "But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
Mark 13:33; "Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.
