What is Predestined

The Truth about predestination

Matthew 22:14 (KJV) For many are called, but few are chosen.

All are called but few are chosen, this is called limited atonement

Matthew 20:16 (KJV) So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many are called, but few chosen.

The last are first, and the first last: two ways to interpret this way

Those that were last Rejected men and women are the first of chosen to come to the Lord, are broken and with a contrite

While you not taken my care vineyard, giving to alien my vineyard, it’s given it to those I have chosen, my vineyard, of these, is most humble to my Father in Heaven, are the last, that is first? From the living

Rejected men and women, of the poor of these people, the first of God’s chosen

A living stone
A living stone is the human Temple (heart), chosen’s one or non believes that becoming, the sacrifices of a human heart acceptable to God through Jesus Christ

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,
you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
(1 Peter 2:4-5)

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
(Jeremiah 31:33)

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

(Ephesians 2:19-22)

:scream::dizzy:

tell something why should you be chosen? tell me why you think that Lord pick you, what did you do to see the master, what makes you special, or more likely what can you give?

Everyone is offered the gift of grace in Christ. Not all will accept it preferring to be lord of their own lives. God wills that all would repent but alas ALL will not because like their spiritual master they want to be like a god. So Jesus tells us I stand at the door and knock whosoever opens the door I will come in and Sup....so you see it is on this, that " as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:.

So it is NOT that because they are the sons of God they receive Him but it is that as many as receive Him to them He gives the power to BECOME the sons of God. The knock is on everyone's door but He only comes in unto those who open the door....by grace through faith, salvation is the gift of God.

Yes but those He goes to will reject His offer
Luke 19:44 (NKJV) and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another,
because you did not know the time of your visitation."

meaning those did not look for Him, because He can come to anyone that is Looking for Him

Tell me...What makes you think that ANYBODY can earn their way into heaven?

Come to think of it...He promised me health, freedom, prosperity, authority...etc...I would say He did promise a rose garden.

a rose garden
John 9:39-41 (NKJV) And Jesus said, "For judgment, I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind."
Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?"
Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.

You seem to specialize in taking a select few scriptures and building an entire doctrine on them....Why not take ALL the scriptures and see what you get?

because is for me to know, and for you to find out, you seen to have all the answers, it is custom for you o_O

LOL You realize, of course, that statement is self contradictory? If its for you to know, how does it seem that I have all the answrers? All I'm saying is that when we try to teach something, it should line up with the Word....Your limited atonement thing does not line up at all...

This is true in one sense, in that many of the Jewish people only knew as the Pharisees told them was true. But YES, as I said, God would prefer that all would come but alas many will not (one of the reasons being that humans like to be lord of their own lives - Genesis 3:5). However He foreknows those that will and those that will not before they choose, but nonetheless gives them all the opportunity. He does not engineer their choice. He knocks and they either open or do not.

that is your thinking everything is a mystery Can you understand

1 Corinthians 2:13 (NKJV) These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

meaning comparing scripture with scripture, the word of God is hidden, throughout the bible not in one place

1 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Colossians 1:26 (KJV) Even the mystery which hath been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Ephesians 3:9 (KJV) And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Daniel 12:4 (KJV) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Daniel 12:4 (NLT2) But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.”
Daniel seal the hidden mystery

Revelation 1:3 (KJV) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
John now says open the seal the hidden mystery

1 Peter 1:20 (NKJV) He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you

time is not limited, but grace is limited, grace is extended to the end of God's plan
atonement is the end of everything and is limited because all those he came for are atoned, grace ends

John 19:28-30 (NKJV) After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!"
Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
