Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways! Psalm 81:13

The way God deals with people changes over time. But because He is perfect and eternal, His desire for fellowship with mankind remains the same. It behooves us to endeavor to please God and enjoy His blessing.

As Christians, we know God at a more intimate level than did the ancient Israelites. They were His chosen nation and experienced many benefits from that status—but the work of Jesus Christ was still future, and the Holy Spirit did not yet make His home in human hearts. So, the Israelites often failed, sometimes spectacularly, as God cried out for them simply to do what He said.

That was God’s desire then; it’s still His passion now. We who know God the Father through God the Son, who entertain God the Spirit in our deepest inner being, should be even more committed to listening to Him and walking in His ways. Not to be saved—that’s purely a work of grace, through our faith in Jesus Christ. But because we are thankful, because we recognize how merciful God has been, because we want to honor our Lord, and because, in the long run, it’s by far the best thing for us.

We know God’s desires by the Word He’s given us. Listen to it and walk in His ways.

Prayer: Lord, guide me in Your ways. I want to please You.

Some times it is a battle, then again for me I ask him to help me, and that I know, I feel much better, when I am closer to Him than drifting away, and my nights and days are much better and sweeter. and when He touches me, I can hardly take His Golden touch. and then I remember, I Only Can experience His touch just so much, and I know, I cannot take much. it has gotten to much for me. Too much of A GOOD thing can Hurt you!:sob: I know, I am 72 now.

Wow. his Touch now is too Good, It seem he just tap me with the tip of His Finger and that is enough.:sob: and do not touch me no more until next week!:sob:

People think I am crazy!:sob:

Once when I was young in The Ministry, I told God I want to feel your anointing all over me when I preach. A old pastor told me no you don't!

I am young and I knew everything. I prayed, and and Mounted that Podium, Gave my text. and when I Said "JESUS" that anointed came on me. I couldn't talk that Joy poured on My Head like Honey, and coated me to the bottom of my feet, every body in the congregation was looking for me to say something after I said "JESUS" I couldn't" move and I could not talk. That JOY dominated ME. Pure JOY and I was speech less, and hundreds of People was looking waiting for me to say something, But the more I Thought about Jesus and that BIBLE The More the JOY CAME. I Had to take my mind off of Jesus and start thinking about Sinning with women right standing on The Podium before I could speak and stop that Anointing from pouring on me. I never prayed that prayer again. I Never, no more ask GOD to pour his Joy on Me, let him pour it, when He Gets ready!:sob: when he pours like that, I cannot take it. When he touches me I can't take it, regular Joy yes, But Thick Holy and Rich Oil No!, Koinonia Joy, that is ok, and reading Joy and singing Joy of The Holy Ghost is ok, But That Finger of GOD. Lord Have Mercy! That Joy will kill you! it will.

Ok, that is enough

Thanks my brother for listening and letting me vent.
