What do we think of this?

When we read these scriptures what do we think they are saying, and are they true?

Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, YET NOW HATH HE RECONCILED
Col 1:22 IN THE BODY OF HIS FLESH THROUGH DEATH, TO PRESENT YOU HOLY AND UNBLAMEABLE AND UNREPROVEABLE IN HIS SIGHT:

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath QUICKENED US TOGETHER WITH CHRIST, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph 2:6 And HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS:

Col 2:11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
Col 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which YOU WERE ALSO RAISED WITH HIM through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you, who were dead IN YOUR TRESPASSES AND THE UNCIRCUMCISION OF YOUR FLESH, GOD MADE ALIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM, having forgiven us all our trespasses,(ESV)

Col 3:1 IF YOU THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Heb 12:22 BUT YOU HAVE COME TO MOUNT ZION and to the city of the living God, THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,
Heb 12:23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
Heb 12:24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and HATH TRANSLATED us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Does this sound like some future event that will happen some day, or are the scriptures telling us something that has already happened? When we read the word “hath”, does that mean future, or past tense? Has Jesus Christ already “presented” us before our Heavenly Father in His Sight after his resurrection? Is this true or does it go contrary to our carnal logical thinking? I guarantee it would go contrary to the traditions of man.

When God raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, did he really raise us up together with him, and made us sit together in Heavenly places in Christ, or is it just a fairy tale made for only misinformed weak minded persons to believe? Obviously, any logical minded person would never even consider this to be true because all of their physical fleshly senses, including their carnal mind would tell them it is a total lie!!!

When the bible says God hath delivered us from the powers of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, (Col 1:13) is this telling us the truth? Have we really come to mount Zion the city of the living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem? Is this not the Kingdom of his dear Son where we have been translated into? Does God have another Kingdom that we don't know about where only dead people who have passed away go, and a separate different Kingdom where only the physical living are?

How can a person seek those things that are above unless that person is above where the things are to seek?

There is only one Kingdom of God where both all the body of Christ dwells whether they are alive physically, or have died physically. This is why the Apostle John tells the physical living this...

1Jn 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, THAT YE ALSO MAY HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH US: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Fellowship with who? “Us”!!! Us who? The Body of Christ (We are the body of Christ), along with the Father, and Jesus Christ His Son!!! How is this possible?

1Jn 1:7 But IF WE WALK IN THE LIGHT, AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT, WE HAVE FELLOWSHIP ONE WITH ANOTHER, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Who did Jesus have fellowship with on the mount of transfiguration? Who did the Apostle John have fellowship with as he wrote in the book of Revelation as he walked in the Spirit? It would be impossible to walk in the Spirit without walking in the light, because God is light, and he is a Spirit!!!!

Who is it that tries to restrict us from experiencing this realty that God has done for us through Jesus Christ? Who is the enemy of our faith? The same one who blinds the minds of men, so that the Gospel of peace should not shine upon them.

As Jesus once said, “make sure that the light that is in you be not darkness” (Luke 11:35) Jesus called darkness a light!! Darkness is a light that blinds the mind which in turn causes unbelief, and the failure to see.

I think these verses are saying what you read there...God is not speaking in riddles...What do you think these verses are saying?
