Brother Chris,since i am a single man,and have never married,I am thankful to at least know why now! Matt 19:10-12 The disciples said to HIM,"If the relationship of the man is like this,is it better not to marry".( note not a question,a statment.) verse 11 But he said to them."Not all men CAN accept this statment,but ONLY those to whom it has been given. For there are some enunuchs,(men incapable of marital relations)who were born that way from there Mother womb; and there are ennuchs who were made ennuches by men;and there are also men who made themselves enunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. He who is able to accept THIS, let him accept this.A rare few verses,many have never seen before. I have always been a loner,I had an oppertinity to marry once,a very beautiful Jewish woman,who had one son,I was not saved at the time,and after 2 years,I left.I did not want to deal with her son any longer,as he was very spoiled and given to fits of rage and I never wanted to hit the child,which I believe I easyly could of,had I married her. 5 months from the day I left her,I found out why! Jesus found me in a mop closet in College and saved me,and delived me,and washed me in his blood and made me clean in him.He filled me with his Holy Spirit,and one day the Holy Spirit said,behold mark,you have left the best woman in the world,for the best Father in the Spirit,it not because you were so smart,it is because I am so wise!!( John 15:16) I was not born to marry,at least not yet,this could always change,but for now,even though I really enjoy the company of woman,I am content to remain as I am,until Jesus decide differently.My flesh wants a wife,but when my flesh had its choice,it did not select one,now I have Jesus in me,and he has not selected a helpmate as yet for me.I do not say this to be felt sorry for,I say this because, Jesus is wiser then us,if we let him be so. I am glad I did! I give great credit to men who have married!! They should all have a medal of valor!! They endure far greater responsibility then those of us who are not married! But as for me,the Lord only knows when,or if,until then I am content!( phil 4:11-13) blessing to you.
