Water is symbolic to God

Water is omnipresent. God uses water as a symbolic gift of His omnipresent power. Especially throughout the Bible. If you look at water then you will see that water reflect all- just as all things are looked upon by God. Water produces waves when someone touches it, even from afar- God knows where you are. If a hand is placed in water, the molecules of the water clings and intermingles with the substance, becoming apart of that substance- just as God becomes apart of our heart and mind. Water ascends and evaporates into the vast air, uncontainable- just like God. Water brings furies of storms resulting in death- God's wrath. Water brings life to the little seed wedged in between the hard soil- God's grace. Water is everywhere and in everything. God is everywhere and is everything.

I just thought that was interesting.

well lions torch i love this post. this is very true. water is also the most powerful force on the earth just as god is over all things. we cant live without water just as we cannot live without god. wow this realy awesome lions torch. thank you for sharing this with us.

I would point out one thing......water cannot be omniscient, as said in your opening sentence.

The word omniscient means, knowing all things, having universal knowledge.

The best way that water is used in the bible is to baptise, to clean away sins!
