Noah walked with God, even in a decadent world. How did he do it? Part of the answer is found in Genesis 5:24.

Noah's great-grandfather Enoch walked with God. The faithful lifestyle of Noah's family made it possible for him to walk with the Lord even though none of his neighbors did.

Noah was walking with God before he built the ark. We learn to walk with God by just following Him every day. We learn to be ready for the big issues when we walk with God on the ordinary days. Then, when a significant challenge comes along, we are already walking by faith.

Noah's test of obedience came when God gave him unusual instructions—to build an ark and to bring two of every animal inside. Through all this, Noah continued his faithful and fruitful walk with the Lord.

He kept his focus on the Lord's plan, the Lord's project, and the Lord's direction.

When you and I walk with God, we learn to listen to Him and hear His voice. Then it doesn't matter what others say, as long as we know we've heard the Lord. Some of us have journeyed through difficult places in our lives. Yet it's not where we walk that matters, but with whom. Anywhere we walk with God—no matter how painful it feels—is a place of serenity and safety.

Remember, when we walk with the Lord, we will never take a wrong step. We will never regret a day. We will always be grateful for the moment we decided to travel alongside almighty God.

I think that Enoch, Noah, and King David had this in common: their experience with God came through testimonies handed down from their forefathers AND by experiencing Him through His creation.

I believe that verbal testimonies from credible sources handed down through the generations planted the seed. But, it was deep meditation on God's creation that showed something of His glory and power and love to them and caused them to seek relationship (to walk) with Him.

David put it in the form of a psalm: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard."
(Ps 19:1-3)

How sad it is that in the busyness of our 21st century lives we miss the opportunity to connect with God through the awesomeness of His creation.

For about three years, I had been a member of another board. I had let certain things slide, which were not appropiate. So I was walking ahead of God and trying to befriends with those whom did not walk with Him. Some of the posts were not appropiate, others were boarder line, some were ok.
Pictures which were pornographic were posted, I notified the mods, the offenders were warned.

One thing I've noticed, some people have not responded to my private messages to them, one of those is a mod, he is having health problems. I notified him that I was praying for him, he never responded, he has responded to others. I think one of the mods may have PM'd members that I complained.

I believe this is I complained about things which were not appropiate. I have been ostracized,

Psalm 27:12, Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false wittnesses have risen against me and such breathe out violence.

What a precious thing to 'walk with God' Biblical record gives a number of O.T. folks walking with God. Enoch as we know went away and never returned. He was a family man, and I am sure family were fussing that day about his tea going cold.

Today such 'walking with God' is not such an exclusive area. All who follow Jesus can engage, and know an out of this world (while in this world) experience, of sweet fellowship, love, joy and peace. Walking with the Saviour each day
