As an ex furry (I was part of the furry fandom since I was 15, recently left for good) I have seen enough insides of the said fandom, and they are indeed distasteful. I am sure not many here are familiar with the furry community, and hopefully I can give great insights for everyone to read.
Note: the furry fandom is pretty big, so I was part of many communities here and then.

Around 3/4 of the fandom is comprised of people with various issues that makes them more or less bearable to have around. I don't want to sound like a monster here - I am kind of autistic myself - but not like that, I am trying to be a decent human being. But what issues I speak about? Whatever it is, it doesn't matter, but it shows as hypocrisy most, if not all of the time. They do say they are inclusive, that they accept everyone, they want friends, community. Everything looks like it should be, right? Fun fact, after 6 years of being in the fandom, I have exactly ZERO furry friends. Do you know why? Some want to just sell you art commissions (fun fact: there's no limit at what you can ask to be drawn), and my favourite: . Even the most basic furry influencers can easily spiral into attention seeking and drama. I barely know any furry influencers that are actually nice people (I think two gals) that are worth following. But the truth is furries actually don't want to include everyone, especially those who may disagree with them or give them no benefit whatsoever. Some of them are also trying to "date" you and of course you may think twice before accepting that with a guy that you know for, let's say, a month? Yeah, I've got two guys hitting on me like that. And what if you want to do your own thing? You'll be marginalised and you'd have to choose between blending in and leaving.
And there are many, many stories I have related to my stay in the fandom. YT is full of videos related to such cases.
Same thing with queer community. I don't think there's even a need to comment on their community.

Fortunately, there are some people that are actually decent and obviously, not part of said communities because they're just toxic. And they will never endorse or associate them with the said communities to not make them look better than they are, and I will do the same. I won't speak badly of every and all furries and queer, because I know there are great people with said identity, but not part of those communities.

Hello lost_fox_2003,

People look for community, so they can feel a part of something greater, yet that personal desire can lead to tragedy when a person looks for community outside of Christ.

The desire for community is part of our awesome Creator's design as the Holy Spirit reveals "they show the work of the Law written in their hearts" (Romans 2:15).

There are so many aspects to this, for example, you might hear people target the sin of homosexuality, yet they get caught in the sin of adultery.

Have you read the Bible, cover to cover?

Love,
Kermos

Well, that is indeed true, but I do know there are sins as bad as those amongst such people. And even worse is the unwillingness to accept and correct the wrongdoing

Nope, I just know like basic Christian teachings.
But if it helps, I did read in general, from many standpoints, and I'm a writer myself.

Hello again lost_fox_2003,

I didn't ask whether you read the Bible for you to prove anything to me. I got that sense from "if it helps".

God is the Master Writer, so your writing is because you were made in the image and likeness of God.

I encourage you to read that which God caused to be written and preserved from antiquity in the Bible. Three chapters per day takes about a year and a month to read the Bible. Pray to God for His Truth.

Without the foundation, then man is susceptible to tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming (Ephesians 4:14).

Love,
Kermos
