As I was getting ready for Church this morning, I received a call from my uncle. My grandfather suffered a massive heart attack this morning and they were on their way to the hospital with him.
My grandfather just flew from Florida to Oklahoma to visit my uncle and his 2 children. My mom spoke with him yesterday and he said that he wasn't doing very well, his legs were swollen from his diabetes and the flight he took probably wasn't good for his condition. My mom told me to call him. She said I needed to call him. I didn't. I promised myself last night and even spoke with my fiance last night about calling my grandfather today. Now I am so afraid I may never get the chance. Never get the chance to talk to him again and never get the chance to tell him how much I love him.
He has such a long medical history and this is probably his 5th heart attack within the last 10 years. They said that his lungs were filling with fluid. I don't know anything further on his condition, but I know it is very serious.
My grandfather...My Beanie (his nickname)...Please, please pray for him.
