You should be eligible for food stamps and possibly some form of welfare assistance until you get back on your feet. Your local unemployment office is a main hub for a good job search so try them out and see if they can help.

Praise God that what seems highly impossible to man....is never impossible to God.

Dear brother, you trusted the Lord to save you, and to wonderfully lead you into service for Him.....Keep trusting Him now to meet all your needs. The path He leads you and your family down may be different to what you are expecting.....but your future is already known and carefully planned by Him.

.. hehe.. Praise the Lord Bro. and may God continually be glorified in you and your family in spite of this situation...

I just remembered an experience three months ago of December 2007 when God is urging me to give a fourth of my monthly allowance...

During that time I've been in two months financial imbalance due to urgent needs.... (my sister's life was in peril because of the war between Israel and Lebanon - she is working there that time so i called her up spending half of my monthly allowance... hence, causing the monthly deficit... hehe.. I let no one knew about it... and praise God, through God's wisdom she was able to escape miraculously from her employers who would not let her go home). Because of this i was not able to obey God's prompting immediately till I got a lot of debts.. That even my monthly allowance would not be enough to pay for it... lol hehehe.. (exaggz..)

Praise the Lord...

Till that December, still the promptings didn't leave me so I dealt with the Lord... I say "Lord God, if this is Your will... I will give first my first fruit... pay all my debts... then if still anything left... I will offer it all to You leaving not a single cent for me....... but please do feed me and my niece who is with me through out this month.."

(hehe).. O, praise the Lord... I don't know how we are being fed and all needs was met the whole month.. Glory to God...

dear Bro.. I don't know how relevant this testimony would be for your situation.... My main point is keep trusting the Lord and lean upon His promises as others here had said already...

At times it's so comforting to remember/medidate God's Word on about the birds of the air?, the hairs of our heads being numbered?... hmmmm. the lilies' beautiful flowers.... God bringing rain in arid places to water the plants remembering the animals and other creatures depending on them.. and a lot... I just can't remember the verses.. hehe..

If God cared about them Bro.. how much more to us whom He had given His only Son just to save us... Amen

The Lord bless you and your household... He loves and cares for you and your family....
