I am asking for prayer for my son. He is getting ready to get on the road out in Connecticut where he pastors a church to drive home here in Kentucky. There has been something that has happened that brings him back here for a few days. (Nothing to do w/his pastoral position at all, has nothing to do with that). I cannot go into detail at this time, but he needs urgent prayers and prayers for safe travel...........as he is not the best driver in this world.....TRUST ME ON THAT! LOL. <----I laugh to keep the dried up eye sockets from trying to produce more tears. And as you pray please also remember his fathers family at this horrifying time in all their lives. Pray for peace & strength for all of them, ESPECIALLY my son. Thank you my new TalkJesus family.

Your son and whole family are in my prayers. I lift them up to Him knowing He will keep His protection upon them all in whatever they are facing right now.
I pray for you also knowing that God can and will give you a peace surpassing any and all other peace for this peace comes not as the world gives but as Jesus Himself gives and He gives us a peace and love like none other.
God bless you my sister and friend in our Lord Jesus.

I guess I would be concerned if......
If you son was the best driver in the world, then there might be more concern here. Where we are weak, the Lord is strong.
I have driven all over the United States in a Semi truck, for years, and I have more faith in God's ability to protect, than I ever did in my own driving ability. There are so many variables out on the road, that It is not even safe for the most alert.
So, lets rest and have more confidence IN God's protection, and that this situation be settled and established in Peace shortly.
"On our way to Branson MO, I saw in my mirror a van that had passed us several times then fallen back. I could tell by the weaving the driver was having a hard time staying awake. Half hour or so went by and I saw this same van moving at least 80mph coming behind us in my mirror. I knew the van was going to smack right in our rear end at 40mph or more. It was so fast.
The Van did hit behind us, but not us. It sounded like a sound from Star Trek of something bouncing off a deflector shield. A loud "Booup"
The van after hitting something behind our van spun out of control. My wife then noticed it after the loud sound from our back end, and we both just said JESUS!!!!!
I watched that van spin 4 complete circles before coming to rest right in the ditch. Nobody hurt, praise God.
My angel took a pretty big bang that day, but God is always faithful.
Jesus Is Lord.

Thank you all so very much. Your prayers are so greatly appreciated here. And those were some great words of wisdom Brother Mike. I just talked to my son, he was 3/4 the way through PA and sounds awake. He slept very little last night, so continued prayers would be great. Thanks again, Cher
