Hey to all,

things dont seem to be going right for me. the bitterness and hostility in the house is spreading all over my house like a wild fire everyday. i have had it. i am sick and tired of having to hear the bitterness and sucks that i have no where to escape to. this problem has led me to a drinking addiction. its been 1 week so far and i got drunk everynight. pray this addiction goes away. i feel at no peace in my home. my heart is so away from GOD. i need a miracle and breakthru. i feel like the bitterness in me will stay for a long time. i dunno. i feel so hopeless. please urgently pray for me. if you got any advice send me a PM or respond to this.

Bitterness comes in when we have unforgiveness. Jesus says You will find me when search for me with all your heart. Read Jer.29:11- 14.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Prayer is powerful as is the name of Jesus. Every time we pray we move the hand of God. Praise Him in the storm.

We have to lean on God and trust Him to help us.

God bless

Dear Brother,

All I can say to you is to call upon the Name of Jesus and pray to Him. He will answer Your prayer. If your getting tempted to drink again, all you need to do is to keep away from the temptation. Just ask Jesus and He will show you a way to get out of the temptation. I will pray for you brother. Jesus is the only one who can give you peace. Just ask Him, He will give it to you.

He is capable of mending your broken heart. He is capable of healing every pain, bitterness in your heart. He is capable of restoring everything to you. There is no sin, so great that cannot be forgiven. He will forgive you and restore you spiritually.

Just surrender all of your life to Jesus and He will surely help you.

Nothing is impossible with Jesus.

God bless you, I will pray for you.

I'd just like to say, I've been where you are now brother.

I've also had bad times in my family environment and in those times I used alcohol to break away from things.

One thing to remember though. It's not right if we do this. Jesus doesn't want us to destroy ourselves, because He loves us and even though we go through bad times, He's there with us.

Brother, if you can, spend time alone with God, even if you have to walk out of the house for an hour or so. Bring your circumstances to the Lord and ask Him to help you with it.

I left my family earlier this year for 3 months, I'm back now, but I realised I had to leave for that period. I'm not saying you have to, but I had to.

Maybe God needs you where you are at this moment, maybe God wants you to be an example to your family.

Brother, don't lose yourself, don't throw yourself away, don't think you aren't worth anything, because you are worth more than anything.

I have a thought when I go to bed sometimes, it's a thought that enters my mind. I asked God once "if" He loved me and it's as if the Holy Spirit gave me this thought.

This thought tells me that all the world, all the possessions there are, there were, everything that has to come and everything there ever was, does not measure in comparison with how much God loves me. All the knowledge in the world, that which was and that which still has to come, does not count close to a fracture of how much God loves me.

The love our God, our Lord have for us, is without measure, without comparison, it's so much that infinity would not have room for it.

God bless you brother. I love you brother.

God bless

Praying for you at this time dear friend, and in faith also with all that has previously been said to help you

God Bless You.....in Jesus

Dear Amit,

Do you have a room of your own? I would advise spending time in your room to seek God or somewhere you can be alone. Also spend time with other mature Christians who can encourage you in the Word as much as possible. Do you have an elder at your church you can confide in?

The following comes to mind to help you focus

(1) spending time reading your Bible - the Word of God - make this a priority
(2) asking God to forgive you for sinning by turning to alcohol and repent - decide not to do that
(3) stay faithful - think about how you can set boundaries at home (maybe by listening to a headset of praise and worship music)
(4) pray in tongues - try praying like this for a length of time - like half an hour or an hour [- see Jude 1:20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit]
(5) worship
(6) be thankful
(7) focus on what God is saying to you right now and pay attention to that - keep a journal/make a note of what He is saying to you by listening to His voice

You are in control of what you think on / meditate on.

Turn to God with a sincere heart and he is faithful and will help you through this.

Deu 4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

I recall listening to a conference at which Jackie Pullinger spoke and said that the root of addiction is shame or guilt. The following scriptures may help:-

James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

If there is unforgiveness in your heart then you need to pray about this - God will help you.

You've done the right thing in reaching out for help and prayer,

I hope this blesses you,

God bless,

Yeshualives

Be still

He never leaves you. It just feels like you're a million miles away from Him because you cannot imagine anyone with the freedom to be elsewhere choosing to be beside you in the middle of all the trouble.

He sees everything they say and do and He *agrees* that you are falsely condemned -- not every time perhaps (you're not perfect of course), but enough.

He sees everything *you* say and do, and He *agrees* with you on your "better" days that some of it was hasty and some of it was stupid and that you probably could do differently now and then.

And He *loves* you.
There is in Christ *no* condemnation.
No need for the fear or the stress.

He knows how much it hurts and He hurts with you. But you only hurt worse when you wake up hung over. So does He.

He knows you don't mean exactly what you say when you yell back and He *forgives* you even when you're sure you meant every word.

He does not judge you based on their opinions. Nor does He judge you based upon yours.

He knows you punched the wall to keep from punching anyone else.

He cried with you when you thought that broken glass might have an extra use.

He *is* listening and you *do* have a place to go.

The whole of the world is His, and if you step no farther than your own yard, He is there, and they will not follow if you but ask Him to give the two of you a moment of privacy.

But it is no longer enough to run away from them.
It never was.

You must decide to run *to* Him.
You will not be turned away.

Standing with you in prayer my friend, Don't lose faith, God IS near.

God bless,

NC

Jesus still loves you

Hi, i thank God that He still loves you and He knows what your going through right now and how hard it is for you. I believe you have asked Him and still ask Him to restore you and to help you. He will do just that for He is a faithful God. He will find you at your weakest point, He will surely come through. I will remember you in prayer and ask even now that the Holy Spirit will guard your heart, will move in you and cause you to have a hunger for God, to forgive those around you and to fill you with His peace and Joy.

asking for prayer

I apologize for the length of this, but, anyway, forgive me, My heart is so broken, I need to talk to someone and I know my brothers and sister standing together with me in prayer will break this. In Jesus Name, Amen

In the last 5 months, many things have happen and many wrong and right choices have been made, However, I know my heart is true, and my mind is clear, and God is truth,

Yesterday, many things are falling more and more apart and yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back.

There is so much depression here in this house. We are having mourning, debt over my head, my car needs repair and updated, and to top all this, I just found out my step dad's prostate cancer has finally began to spread. He has had it for 7 year and they only gave him 5. It is not operable where it is located and he has been living with a tube in his stomach being replaced ever 3 months. I know Andy knows God and is saved, I pray my mom will be able to deal with this now.

And lastly, Please pray for my daughter in laws father, John just found out that he has a spot on his lung, last year he lost his bladder due to cancer and today, I pray for healing, and strength for our family and each one of these members of my family. He too knows God and is saved.
