Urgent Prayer Request

Please pray for my neighbour, her name is Preethi. Right now she is pregnant and she is having high B.P which is very dangerous. She is in the hospital and the doctors are going to perform an operation. Please agree with us in prayer for God to heal her and make her normal once again.

NOTE: Before I got saved, she used to pray along with my mother for God to touch me and change my life. When she laid hands on me and prayed 5 years back, many demons came out of me and God healed me spiritually.

I want to tell you that the doctors have performed the operation and removed the baby (it is a baby girl). This is only the eighth month of pregnancy. Her B.P right now is normal, but the baby's condition is not good. The weight of the baby is very much less than normal. When the baby was removed, the baby suddenly stopped breathing. Right now the baby is in the incubator. Please pray that the baby's condition comes to normal.

This may be a word from the Lord, or it may be just my imagination, but I think that as I read your post He gave me John 11:4 - "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory that God's Son may be glorified through it."

I want to tell you that the baby's condition is improving. The baby is still in the incubator and the doctors said that the baby will be kept there for 48 hours. Please contnue to pray for the baby and her mother (for her health to come back normal again).

It means a lot to me. I am a grandfather now and just had the blessing of seeing my new grandson come into this world healthy and very big. So I have a renewed passion for this situation that you have shared with us.

Dear Brother Mike,

I'm very sorry that I wasn't able to give any further updates on the condition of Preethi and the baby, because I wasn't able to contact her, I was very busy with exams. Right now things have improved a lot. Preethi and the baby will come back home from the hospital on Saturday and normal life will resume and everything is alright. This is all I want to tell you.

We pray now for protection for them, Lord; that you would bind the enemy so that his efforts to steal, kill, and destroy in Preethi's life would come to naught.

God is bigger than we are. His ways are not our ways.
As an encouragement for you, a friend of mine had a baby a couple of weeks ago- 3 months early. She weighed 2 lb 2 oz.
All of the doctors tried to stop the labor, but she wanted out.
Later, we found out that the mother had an infection that had entered the fluid around the baby and would have killed her within weeks. God knew she had to arrive early or die.
We were told she could not eat, but she sucked on a pacifier so much that the doctors relented, and she is now gaining weight.
Usually the babies have to stay in the hospital until their due date, which is June, but they expect her to gain 2 lbs within 40 days (sound familiar? what a biblical number!), and that 40th day is actually Passover.
God knows what is best for this baby and her mother. Praise Him that you care so much for them!
