Without God, your best life is like trying to read a map in the dark or walking with your eyes closed. Your best life without God is completely unproductive. You can’t even tell if your step has led you anywhere important.
People wither in darkness. They shake like a leaf in winter winds. They want to make up their mind but can’t decide. They have no confidence, joy, or contentment. They dream of something different—something better and hope-filled. God makes the offer that fulfills their deepest desires.
To live unshaken is a blessing. It starts and ends with following God into the great unknown. The reason you worry is because you wonder how to handle the challenges that will certainly come your way. But to live unshaken means you stand with the God who can lead you through those challenges—the ones you can’t handle and the ones you don’t know how to handle.
Prayer: God, if I think about all the things that could happen to me—and then believe those things will happen—then I’m about as far away from unshaken as I can be. Give me Your vision for my future and allow me to really live.
