Tuscalooza tornado...

Hi there, I have a very good friend who along with her family are residents of Tuscalooza. I am in South Africa and I have just seen on the news the devastation caused by the tornado.
My friend is a devout christian, and has offered me many a word of advice and prayer...so please will you all join with my in prayer for her and her family, as well as all the other residents of Tuscalooza in this time of crisis? Please?
I have not heard from her, but I know God's hand is upon her and the family.

Just to let you all know, I have still not heard from my friend yet...so please continue to just keep her and her family in prayer.
I have seen footage, and I honestly have no concept of what that kind of destruction is like...so my prayers are with all those who have been affected by the storms in the southern states of the USA.
I just know many a testimony of Gods awesome grace will come out of this catastrophe.

Any news yet

I have family in Gadsden it's very near where this tornado struck but they are all alright.
Just no power and water rations as of today.
Cash only as well, we told them to be careful, someone might try to steal their purse if they go out and also there is the possibility of looting in the houses, with the cash only rule in effect.

What is up with this crazy weather?

Glad to hear your family are ok MistyRose...thats certainly good news! I know there must be a lot of people in a hard place after this. But God has made us all more than conquerors...and he will be glorified upon high.

It has been so sad for so many there! The question many ask is why?WHY!! did this happen to so many? Since God can do anything, why would he ever allow so many to be so sad? This is a tough question,the answer to this may be found in each one of those peoples hearts and minds.

We are all tested,we all go through terrible times in our life.I choose to look at this,as if the devil meant something for evil,but through this evil!! God will make something so bad, end up so good for so many there.

The storm destroyed so much,but through this storm God is looking,and yes he is finding some souls through all of this to save.Luke 15:3-10!! The devil meant for all to be sad and dismayed,he meant for all the people there to lose not only there hope in Jesus,but would even take there soul from them,for he is the master thief!! ( john 10:10)

He would tell the people that God did this,when he himself knows, as you all do who the world right now belongs to! ( 2 Cor 4:4)and as proff to this Matt 4:8-11! If the kingdoms of the World were not the devils he could never have presented them to our Jesus! But they are his!! FOR NOW!! But thorugh all this to the dear people in 6 states who lost so much,may they consider our Jesus,and the treasures that can never be blown away,they can never be carried off! Matt 6:19-24 May these people find peace,may they find love, one for another,and through this,Jesus will be among them!

John 14:27 this my brothers and sisters is what is in the very core of LOVE,for as you know perfect love casts out ALL fear! I pray each person find this peace,that by there love, one for another, they may rebuild all of there lives knowing,that it is by this very love one for another,Jesus appears before them! John 14:23-26 My prayers and love go out to each and everyone of these dear people!! amen!

Hi there!
So I have finally heard from my friend in Tuscalooza! What a relief...I prayed, yet was always concerned...as we all are when it is our loved ones that we are concerned about.
However...she is 100% ok, and says that her husband was a tower of strength to her...their whole family are ok, and they all thank God for his hand that was clearly upon them. Wow! How awesome?!
I just want to thank you all for the prayers that you offered up for this family, and for all the prayers that are being offered up for all of those affected. Thank you so much!

I know the Tornado's have cut a path of destruction through these southern states, and I will continue to keep all of these people in prayer. Admittedly, I am not in the states, nor do I have any idea of what is going on there...but I will continue to pray and I hope I will be joined by you guys?!

Numberous tornados in Alabama.

Parts of Birmingham,AL, Rainsville,AL - area, Trenton,GA heard badly hit.

Some people have power now, others still don't.

PLEASE continue prayers.

For sure...I must admit, I dont know anything about what is going on over there. I saw it on the news when it happened, and was concerned for my friend and her family. but, as this is a country very far away from mine, the coverage has not been as extensive as I am sure it has elsewhere.
I will continue to pray for all those affected.
