True Church or Cult

Your false religion and ridicule of God and His word is obvious. "The Church of the Almighty God" is a false church and is a cult.

Jesus loves you. Receive Him and His sacrifice so you can live and enjoy the blessings of God in the here and now as well as forever. Study and know His word and hold it out as His source of truth to you, personally. It's what you need.

John 3:16
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

It is all about "Almighty God", his living word, the Bible, and Jesus as the Savior and living in each of us.

Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God, that he is God and that he lives inside you?

This is a lie. Persecutions of Christians have never dwindled.

As for the "Church of the Almighty God", it is not of God, and Jesus Christ is not a part of it. Your "scriptures" are not the word of God. It grows because of ignorance of the real truth about Jesus, because Satanic principalities have control over it. It thrives only because darkness has engineered it, and it is presented to sinners as an angel of light. It is not truth. Neither Jesus Christ, nor the Holy Spirit have anything to do with your religion.

The Eastern Lightning cult was founded by Zhao Wei Shan in A Cheng in Hei Long Jiang province in 1989. Zhao used to be a member of a denomination called the Shouters. He later broke away with a group of people, and started a new sect called "Church of the Everlasting Foundation," calling himself "The Powerful One." Later on he joined with a woman named Deng in He Nan province. He began to call her "The Almighty God" - the female Christ in the flesh - and the name of the sect was at that time changed to "The Church of the True God." The last name they have adopted for themselves is "The Eastern Lightning" which was taken from Matthew 24:27 in the Bible. At the present time, they have penetrated over 20 provinces in China; they have over a million followers and are attacking and greatly damaging Christian house churches in China.

This Deng woman is their god, and is the author of the book (terribly written, to boot!) that these people lean on as scripture from whom they call The Almighty God. They neglect Jesus Christ and His free gift of salvation and promote poverty and salvation by works.

We need to lift up in prayer the countless true home churches in China and around the world where this dangerous group has penetrated, that they will be strong in Christ, and discerning in the Holy Spirit concerning the subtle lies that they promote, that they will easily detect, denounce and reject them as false.

I have to agree with Ophel....I looked at this 'religion' and it IS a cult...A demonic lying cult..Nothing more...
Keep in mind that Satan speaks truth too...Also keep in mind that 99% truth and 1% lie makes 100% lie.
The enemy will add enough truth to make it look good, look wonderful, but its a lie and it will poison you, kill you spiritually...It will cause you to turn your back on the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE...It will lead you into apostasy. As an example; Satan used scripture to tempt Jesus. Remember he told Jesus
Matthew 4:6
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Every devout Christian is expecting the Lord’s coming again. However, because 2 Thessalonians 2 says, “…that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God,” many brothers and sisters, when hearing others say that the Lord has come, are afraid that it might be the counterfeit of the “man of sin,” and thus dare not come out to welcome him. Regarding this, let’s study this portion of scripture so as to know clearly the substance of the “man of sin” and grasp the principles of discernment, lest we shut the door on the returned Lord Jesus for fear of being deceived.

The Bible says, “…that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” Again Ephesians 2:19-22 says, “Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together grows to an holy temple in the Lord: In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” These verses tell us that in the Age of the Grace, God’s temple referred to man’s body and also the church. It is thus clear that the “man of sin” mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2 comes from “the temple of God,” the church of the Age of the Grace. Since it says he is “revealed,” it means that he has been hiding there yet not revealed, and he will be “revealed” at a proper time. Some brothers and sisters may feel surprised at this: How can there be such a person in the church? Actually, this is not surprising. Let’s see where those deceivers came from and who they were when Jesus did his work in Judea. The Bible says, “Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles. Similarly, today, in the end time, when God has returned in the flesh to do the work, in the church there have also appeared some people who resist God’s new work. Most of them are the ones who lead the church. They are so afraid of losing their position that they have tried all means to destroy God’s work and to hinder the brothers and sisters from coming before Almighty God. Incapable of bringing the brothers and sisters any life supply, they can only give the brothers and sisters one “sermon”: Never go out to listen to any preaching, never receive any strangers, never read Almighty God’s word, and never contact the people who believe in Almighty God. We are living in the age of grace. Have you received the free gift of grace from God, Jesus Christ, who took the punishment for your sins on His body and shed His blood to cleanse you of your sins?

Shandong, their home province, is the heart of the Church of Almighty God, a cult that believes that Jesus has risen in the shape of a 40-something Chinese woman named Yang Xiangbin, also sometimes known as Lightning Deng......is this true,is this what you believe?

I looked at your link, but the topic on the Bible as well as the one on the home page were lengthy and wordy.

I hope I'm never like that.

I couldn't read either one of them due to my own inability to focus and concentrate for so long without a better incentive than what you have provided. I do have my Bible and read it daily.

Why should I trouble myself with what they have written?

Could you not briefly tell us what it is they believe or what it is you believe that would help us to move closer God?

In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God and the Word IS God...The bible is what we call the book of God's WORD.
This is not a question of principle..Its a matter of fact.

The church of almighty god is a cult. No more no less...It WILL lead all who adhere to in into the darkness.
The problem, Isabella, is that when you are in deception, you don't see it...but you think you are the only one with all the truth....
