Traditional Baptist

I am 69 years of age and have been going to a Baptist Church for about 30 years. We have always gone to the traditional Baptist services where a piano and organ are played as we sing from the traditional hymnal. Sermons are preached straight from the Bible. If you read the Southern Baptist Convention Faith and Message you can get an idea of our beliefs. However, things have changed and many, if not most, Baptist Churches in our area have gone to contemporary services. My wife and I want to stay with a church that is tradition. If we can’t find such a Baptist Church, what denomination should we visit?

I could tell you to visit this one or that my friend, but that is seldom the right way. Talk to people about it and talk to God about and listen to what God says to you directly or through others. All of His sheep do hear His voice. I am praying for your situation now.
