to Repay

I start out fresh with new resolve;
Willing to be strong
an example for all.

Then to the world I take my stand
Only to fail yet again.
I have added a nail to His cross.

In that moment I cry out
Oh Lord please forgive me
And in me show Your strength.

Then He reaches down
With love and care
To hold me up and make me whole

All I can do to repay
Is sign over to Him
my life my mind my soul.
