"Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called." 1 Corinthians 7:20

Some persons have the foolish notion that the only way in which they can live for God is by becoming ministers, missionaries, or Bible women. Alas! how many would be shut out from any opportunity of magnifying the Most High if this were the case. Beloved, it is not office, it is earnestness; it is not position, it is grace which will enable us to glorify God. God is most surely glorified in that cobbler's stall, where the godly worker, as he plies the awl, sings of the Saviour's love, ay, glorified far more than in many a prebendal stall where official religiousness performs its scanty duties. The name of Jesus is glorified by the poor unlearned carter as he drives his horse, and blesses his God, or speaks to his fellow labourer by the roadside, as much as by the popular divine who, throughout the country, like Boanerges, is thundering out the gospel. God is glorified by our serving Him in our proper vocations. Take care, dear reader, that you do not forsake the path of duty by leaving your occupation, and take care you do not dishonour your profession while in it. Think little of yourselves, but do not think too little of your callings. Every lawful trade may be sanctified by the gospel to noblest ends. Turn to the Bible, and you will find the most menial forms of labour connected either with most daring deeds of faith, or with persons whose lives have been illustrious for holiness. Therefore be not discontented with your calling. Whatever God has made your position, or your work, abide in that, unless you are quite sure that he calls you to something else. Let your first care be to glorify God to the utmost of your power where you are. Fill your present sphere to His praise, and if He needs you in another He will show it you. This evening lay aside vexatious ambition, and embrace peaceful content.

Amen, Amen, Amen;
To each their calling is given; if one has ever came into the divine union of God.
We were not born in flesh; we were born because God ordained it; least I should have died from the womb, having never been born at all.
Some were chosen from the foundations of the world; for a time and a purpose, yes this too, ordained of God.
However glorious, it may seem, to some who do not understand; it is all for the glory of God.
Let no man think more of himself than he ought to think; least he become prideful, high minded and self righteous.
God knows whom He has chosen; and God blazes the trail.
When one makes an oath with God; that one shall pay every last mite of that oath.
I will appear to be the biggest sinner of them all; however, it is God that justifies all that He commands of me.
The flesh judges carnally; yet scream they are children of God. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Don't be found naked and full of shame.
He, who is spiritual, judgeth all things, yet it rightly judged of no man; it is not I that judges, but the Spirit within me that guides me in the path of righteousness and the other comforter that leads me in the way of truth. The Spirit of truth will not allow me to receive a lie; for He also bares witness with the Holy Ghost.

He counts me worthy to suffer for His names sake.
Yes, worthy I am; for you do not know the road I have walked before He called me into the promised land.
I was the greatest sinner of all. I am deserving of all the false accusations, persecutions, called the devil, ridiculed, condemned by fleshly judgments, finger pointing and yes, even being accused of being god; just for speaking the Word. I will be the least among you all, the world will rejoice at my death; but I will be first when the kingdom is called, as the Word says.
The Holy Ghost ministers to me and has told me all these things.
She who was forgiven most; loved a lot; and is now blessed by the King.
But, where much has been given; much will be required.
Even my own sins come at a cost; the price that I must pay, pick up my cross and follow HIM; who knows the truth, the life and the way.
HE is my KING; He bled for me, HE died for my sins; now, He has asked me to follow HIM.
My life was mine, and I gave it to Him; now, my life is not my own, it belongs to Him.
The sins of whom ye retain, they are retained.
The sins of whom ye remit, they are remitted.
Do you know HIM? Has He shown you the way?
Have you ever touched Him, and been truly set free from yourself and all your dismay?
It is self we must lay down; and the world is out of the way.
Self lust after the world; and the world loves its own.
When self is denied, its freedom; the world is long gone.
For God has received me; and that is why I care.
For it is Him I choose to please; while men will create their snares.
God loves me. I keep my eye on Him; if the world loved me, it would not have beaten me down with shame and sin.

Father, I thank you that you have qualified us to walk in victory, prosperity, love, joy, peace, and healing by sending your son to save us. All blessings are inheritance of the saints, purchased by the blood of Jesus. Your goodness is ours. Amen.
