Spiritual sat-nav (2)
'He persevered because he saw Him who is invisible.' HEBREWS 11:27
Is God into nutters or what? 1 Kings tells the tale of a widow who lived during a famine, with only enough food to scrape together for one last meal. Yet she was nutty enough to share it with the prophet Elijah. Even though most of her must have been thinking 'I've not even enough for myself', her spiritual sat-nav whispered 'Give what you've got, God will give you back what you need'. She was right, God provided for her throughout the famine. And what about Mr. Nutty himself: Noah. He was the fruitloop who started to build the world's biggest boat bang in the middle of a desert, miles and miles from water, all because his spiritual sat-nav hinted at it. History is full of nutters, and it seems there's a fine line between nutty and genius: The Wright brothers were crazy enough to believe they could fly like birds, and set the blueprint for the modern aeroplane.
Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity ; a genius then? Not when you find out how he did it; by flying a kite in a thunder storm (don't try this at home folks)! All these people trusted their instincts and acted on them. So yes, its official, God loves a nutter, or at least blesses them for their crazy ideas. What might God be showing you that others haven't seen? Check your spiritual sat-nav.
