Give Him what you've got


'GIVE, AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU...' LUKE 6:38

It's about 2000 years ago and Jesus has been busy teaching a crowd of people - and it's not just a little bunch of people; it's more like what you'd get at a big music festival in the park. The Bible says there were about 5,000 people hanging out listening to what Jesus had to say! It's boiling hot and on top of that Jesus knows the people must be hungry so He turns to one of His disciples and says, "where shall we buy bread for these people?" His mate is shocked coz he knows that even if he was loaded it would cost a bomb to feed that many people.

But Jesus is just testing him to see if he would think, "no way we can't afford it", or "God can, so bring it on!" Andrew, another disciple, tells Jesus that he's found a boy with a packed lunch containing five little rolls and two little fish. The boy hands over his packed lunch and sits down with the rest of the crowd. Jesus says thanks to God for the food and then gets His 12 disciples to start dishing it out. Can you imagine what must have been going through their heads?

But as they did what Jesus asked, a miracle happened and 5000 people got a slap up fish supper. In fact there was so much left over they filled up 12 big baskets! The reason this is such a popular story is because it illustrates one of the number one things about Jesus: if you make what you have available to Him, He'll take it, bless it and then do a miracle!

You know I read this today after asking God for a word for my day ahead.

How fantastic is this lesson! Give all you have.. he'll take it, bless it and turn it into a miracle.

Now it's just the doing part ..hmmm

There were 5000 men ,plus women and childern!
HE said?GREATER WORKS will these do!
So we are not limited except by our FAITH!
Of course,we must be led by the HOLY GHOST!
One miracle is not bigger than another.We tend to think? some are greater???
If one would be greater? I would think? Oor names in the LAMBS book of LIFE!
The LORD said?when I return? Will I find faith on the earth?
You see?We must not think in earthly terms,We must think in heavenly terms!
But of course ,in HIS PERFECT will.As I know ? He has a perfect will and permisive will.
I been in both,I hate being in the permisive will.I long to always be in HIS perfect will!
I been a hard head,thinking I knew the answer to some problems ,I never did.HE was always correct.He allows us to make mistakes.I do not like making mistakes ,nor will anyone else!
GOD wants nothing from us of this world.But,He wants us willing to put all at HIS feet.
And HE wants us too love!Love gives .Love never takes.
God is a giver and wants each child to be a giver.But we need HIM to guide us in our giving.I am not just talking about money.But time or things or prayer .2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

He longs to bless us!But unless we truly know and believe ,the things HE wants to have and know they are for us?we will not recieve!
We are no different than the first church and HE is No repecter of person!
