Can you see God's hand in it?
'THE LORD DIRECTS THE STEPS OF THE GODLY.' PSALM 37:23
Has something so painful happened that it's left you feeling scarred and a bit useless? Have you experienced people picking on things about you that've left you very sensitive and insecure? Do you find it difficult to trust people?
Ever wonder why God made you that way? If that's where you're at today read these words: 'The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand' (Psalm 37:23-24 NLT). Do you believe that?
Ask God right now to root those words deep in your heart. You see, God loves to use people who aren't perfect, which pretty much includes all of us! It's often hard to understand why God made us that way, yet if you give Him time and a chance you're guaranteed a good reason.
When people with big flaws are used for Gods glory, God gets even more glory because they clearly couldn't have done it by themselves. God loves to bless people with flaws; they aren't arrogant like those people who think they deserve it. They're usually warmer and much more willing to give others a chance too. They understand that without God they never would have made it.
Don't limit what you think you're capable of or what you want to do with your life just because you're not perfect or not the best at something. God is capable of anything and if you're willing to be used, then you can't possibly begin to imagine the things He has in store for you.
