Keep your dream alive
'Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.' EPHESIANS 3:20
Some dreams get you into trouble; like when you're caught daydreaming of Shayne Ward out of the Geography room window. Others are plain unrealistic; like when you dream that Pizza Hut have taken over catering in the school canteen. Then some seem plain 100% impossible; yet maybe God has placed this kind of dream in your head or heart for a reason. Strangely enough, it can be the ones that tamper with logic, that defy gravity, that scream 'CAN'T BE DONE!' that God wants you to chase.
What's bugging you at the moment? What's waking you up at 3am every night with its bright wild idea? What tugs at your heart strings and plays a symphony of goose bumps on the back of your neck? Could it be a prompting from the Holy Spirit? Test it and see, ask God about it, share it with your youth group leader, do some research. Are you dreaming about mission work abroad?
Find out about the country, what good organizations already work there. Are you thinking about University? Work at it, even if it seems impossible at the moment. Whether its taking up cross stitching, learning the guitar or bungee jumping from the moon (perhaps not such a good one), check it out before it dies out. When God gives you a dream, He leads you to the resources to help you. Ask God. Keep the dream alive!
