Note he was taken up before the day of Pentecost,Read it again and start at the beginning

As far as obey in the book of Mark ch 16 vs 17 (And these signs shall follow them that believe;In my nsme shall they cast out devils;they shall speak with new tongues bgsda to speak in new tongues is the evidence of being filled with the Holy Ghost,on day of Pentecost they knew they had received the Holy Ghost by speaking in other tongues or else how would they have known

During the time of the Exodus from Egypt,During the timr the ten commandments where wrote,there was no Calender,no documentation of days or months,
During these days they used lunar cycles to tell the day and month,and every 2 to 3 years they had to add a month to the year so the passover would fall in the spring time.The reason they knew it was spring was by namely the ripening of barley crops,the ripeness of fruit trees, etc.....
The first real calender was the roman calendar then being reformed it was the julian calender,and then Gregorian calender,as you can see the calender upon which we go by has been modified numerous times by men figuring out a true lunaryear and then breaking it down into 12 months and every 4th year adding a day in February,

My question to you bgsda is how do you know the very Saturday you call the Sabbath,do you honestly believe it is the true Sabbath day,honestly the Saturday you hol as the Sabbath is the works of men because men came up with calender we now live by,not God

And i looked in the dictionary for yhe word Pentecost and the dictionary said it was on Sunday,and i can almost bet thats where the sda gets it Sabbath from,the works of men and not of God,

The Law of Moses was given by God to Israel at Mt Sinai.

It is a legally binding covenant that Israel agreed to obey.

It most certainly is not divided into two separate types
of law. To call one set of laws, God's law or Moral law
and the rest the law of Moses is incorrect bgsda. This
opinion of yours is most certainly not supported by the
scriptures. Why did you quote Daniel 9,10-11?? as
some kind of scriptural support for this erroneous
theology. You are way out of line, please supply
the scripture for this separation. The scripture must
be clear that there are two types of law.

Your next quotation seemed to convey your lack of
understanding of the book of Romans. Here is what
you claimed.

Your opinion that law and sin are somehow linked in the
Gentile world is very quickly refuted by another line in Romans.

Romans 2:12

12 For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law,

Paul is stating that the Gentiles who do not have the law
will also perish without the law. Please correct your flawed
theology bgsda. Romans 2:12 invalidates your claim that without
the law there is no sin in the Gentile world. Remember the Gentiles
are called the "uncircumcised". Uncircumcised means that the
Gentiles were not given the law of Moses bgsda. Circumcision
is the physical requirement for a Jew and signifies membership
of the Old Covenant. We Gentiles are the uncircumcised, the
unclean, the sinners, without God and foreigners to the covenant
God made with Israel.

Your mistake is in your misunderstanding of the Book of Romans,
like I said before, you are not alone in this error. Paul is directly
addressing the Jews at the Roman Church in this letter. Hence you
refuse a solid interpretation and blunder into false generalizations
which are not true at all. Sin exists without the law in the Gentile
world.

Then you made another grand mistake;

To make this claim you must furnish the Old Testament scriptures
to support this claim.

Finally I experienced difficulty with the first section of your

The Jews called it preparation day(prepare for the Sabbath). So they left home and prepared spices until the sabbath then they rested as the Commandment says to do.

My question again,Do you bdsda know the exact day the sabbath fell on and fyi the Julian calendar was reformed for business purposes (tax collection,payment date,etc....) and the following calendars after that were also reformed by the work of men NOT of GOD

stone written by the finger of God; and on them were all the words which the Lord had

It came about at the end of forty days and nights that the Lord gave me the two tablets of

stone, the tablets of the covenant.

So the ten commandments are the old covenant.

This is not a debatable point bgsda, the scriptures

Hebrews 8:13

13 When He said, “ A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is
becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

It is impossible to deduce any other conclusion other
than the ten commandments are the old covenant.

Exodus 21:16

Kidnapping is not included within the ten commandments.
So you would not see kidnapping as a moral law?
Therefore in your mind you can kidnap?

mistake in your theology. There is very strong difference
between legislation (law, covenant) and a gentle introduction
to a coming law of the sabbath. What was the penalty given
to those who sought the manna on the day of rest in Exodus 16?
Then what was the penalty post Mt Sinai? You see the difference is in
the legislation (old covenant). Besides Israel in Exodus 16 is almost
at Mt Sinai a mute point to say the least.

Please demonstrate from the scriptures prior Exodus
just where the sabbath is mentioned.

It may be advisable for a person to have one days rest
from work. I have found that two is better, I prefer
two days rest from labor. This is common sense bgsda
not really a moral choice. Where you err is that Israel
was commanded to rest on the seventh day. Gentiles
were never commanded to rest on the seventh day.
This law the scriptures testify to was only given to
Israel as a sign of the covenant!!

If you look through the scriptures pre Mt Sinai
you will not find the divine legislation. I must
place importance on this point. You have to
pin point the occurrence of the Law of the Sabbath
not a day of rest. Observance of the sabbath as law
is recorded at Mt Sinai not before.

Ezekiel 20:10-12

10 So I took them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness.
11 And I gave them My statutes and informed them of My ordinances, by which, if a man observes them, he will live.
12 And also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Thanks bgsda but there is one thing you must know about the bible there is only one true bible as just one true church, The King James version is the original Bible translated out of the original tongue,now all other bibles came from one reading the kjv and then putting it in their words under the understanding they received,i myself have compared many versions to the kjv and these so called new translations to find them very deceiving,one very important Scripture that all need to know is Mark 16 vs 18 (They shall up serpents;and if they drink any deadly thing,it shall not hurt them;they shall lay hands on the sick,and they shall recover.) Now in new version bibles this Scripture say to pick up snakes safely which is a lie as shown in Acts ch 28 vs 3 ( And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks,,and laid them on the fire,there came a viper out of the heat,and fastened on his hand.)

John Wycliffe (1330 ?-84), the Roman Catholic priest and scholar who, with the subsequent help of Nicholas of Hereford, made the first translation of the Bible into English in about 1380, over 230 years before the arrival of the King James Bible. 2nd Commandment "You shall not make any graven image,etc" they took out completely
4th Commandment they only write "keep the sabbath day holy" not explaining why or which day it is Ex.20:8-11, maybe that is why John Paul 2 believed and introduced evolution.
10th Commandment they broke it up into 2 commandments to make up for the 2nd that they took out. Check it out for yourself. Now who can change the only thing in the Bible that God wrote not once but twice with His own fingers and one of three times He spoke where He was audible.

The true church is simply populated by all those who;

Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

That is the Gospel, you can only be saved by the belief in Jesus Christ.

There is no further requirement, that is the Good News.

Heaven is the destination of those that believe in Jesus Christ.

False teachers add a commandment or two to the Gospel,
it is Christ plus obedience to this or that.

False teachers say there are additional requirements.

There is no other way to be reconciled than through Jesus Christ.

Our celebration is of Christs work for us.

Our boast is in Jesus Christ and nothing else.
