Cerebus I have found the word "he" used in 1 John 5:16. The word used is αυτή and here is the meaning through the Greek dictionary: a reflection of self or used in the company of the third person or (proper persons).
I don't know if this truly answer the question we have regarding "he" but this is how "he" is understood in the Greek dictionary.
