Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. {Matthew 13:5-6}
He who has received the seed on the rocky ground is the man who hears the Message and immediately receives it with joy. It has struck no root, however, within him. He continues for a time, but when suffering comes, or persecution, because of the Message, he at once stumbles and falls. {Matthew 13:20-21}
But sometimes the seed that fell on the rocky places has HOPE! Because, sometimes the seed finds just enough soil to survive, makes root & grows into a strong & healthy tree. {As we see a tree that grows upon a rock-bolder}
The key is to Listen, Pay Close Attention & Live your life according to The Almighty GOD'S Rules & Regulations. And it you fail, if you should fall, then try-try-again. You can never find soil if you give up & therefore how can you bare fruit if you have no root.
