The Risk of God

Bill, I, like David, am a brother of Yashua ha'Mashiah, that haa fellowships in a Baptist Church that has severed all ties with the main line Associations because of their taking up of Queer Pastors and other present day practices. I did not read the particulars for this site, but I am certain Yashua will have words for anyone that speaks as you have wirh a professing believer. Baptists might go to Heaven but except they love and obey... He never knew them.
My friend , anyone that calls thenselves a Christian that doesnt Love and Obey God is a hypocrite.

Dear @David Koberstein @Bill
Having enough fun yet, at the expense of your Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus?
As well as those who have given you the medium by which you are making fun of them on?

These type of comments that you both have shared on this thread would have been better to be had via Private Message (PM) to each other, if at all. I state this, because you both at times have stated that you have been in a sense persecuted for your own beliefs. One as a Catholic, and the other as a Messanic Jew. Yet, here you are doing the same? Hummm...something seems a bit off to me with that type of reasoning, wouldn't you say? Especially if in truth you both are professing followers of Christ Jesus and professing love to those who you should be calling Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus? Unless of course you don't believe they are.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I can smile at what you are saying, and where you both are coming from, because you have found common ground, which is a good thing. Still, at the expense of brethren and where you are doing it, Protestant site, most assuredly would have shown a bit more self-awareness and been better done through a PM.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Did not mean to offend anyone

Actually, I find the topic a bit strained. As we learn from reading the books of the Prophets, Yehovah knows the future. He "risks" nothing. Yeshua, Jesus, might be another matter but thoughtful srudy of the four Gospels indicates to this observer that he, also, understood His Spiritual Immortality as well as knowing the suffering He was about to endure.

His willingness to be slaughtered in His human form impresses me to no end. I volunteered to risk dying many times but never to any comparable point. He loved me that much?

Sense God knows every thing that will happen before it happens, he also know all of the possibilities that could have happened, So, God takes no risk in anything because he is certain of its outcome.

Risk only happens when you are not certain of its results.

Man on the other hand takes risks if he is not absolute sure of the consequences of his actions or faith in God. After years of proving God in his faithfulness to man eventually takes no risks because he is certain of Gods faithfulness to him.
