Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!" Angels have often been thought of as God’s messengers. They brought Mary news about Jesus and came to many other people whose stories are recorded in scripture. Angels could do their job because they are unshaken.
It’s unclear if angels knew that Jesus would die for the sins of humanity. They must have struggled to manage their thoughts when Jesus took His last breath from the cross, but when John experienced a vision of heaven, he witnessed many thousands of angels worshipping Jesus. They were unshaken when they recalled what Jesus did. He was a lamb slain for humanity’s sin. He is worthy to take hold of power and strength. He is the recipient of honor, glory, and blessings.

Prayer: Father, You are unshaken, Jesus is unshaken, and the angels send the message that I should be unshaken. Tens of thousands of angels showed great trust in Your Son. Help me to be a participant in their worship. Help me to honor You, give glory to Your Son, and bless Your Spirit who works in my life.
