Lounging on a blanket,
we listened to the bird song.
It played from trees and
engulfed us into peace.
We watched birds in a funny dance,
move a few paces and rest, then move again.
We laughed at them,
shaking our heads and pointing.
We spoke of God,
the Creator of our world.
We spoke of His creation,
how beautiful it is.
We must return to this place,
this peaceful place here
where birds do funny dances
and God's glory is revealed.
