1- "Our Lord!" (they say), "let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure.
2- Then those who believe in God, and hold fast to Him, soon will He admit them to Mercy and Grace from Himself, and guide them to Himself by a straight Way.
3- Then contemplate (o man!) the memorials of God's Mercy! how He gives life to the earth after its death: verily the Same will give life to the men who are dead: for He has power over all things.
4- What God out of His Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can withhold: what He doth withhold, there is none can grant, apart from Him: and He is the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.
5- "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! despair not of the Mercy of God: for God forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
6- When those come to thee who believe in Our Signs, say: "Peace be on you; your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amended (his conduct), lo! He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
7- Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy: that will be the Achievement for all to see.
