The Lord is good, a refuge in times of
trouble. He cares for those who trust
in Him,
( Nahum 1:7 *NIV )


We all have troubles in our lives from time to time. Even
King David did, however he always turned to God for help,
for he knew that God was always with him. David wrote;
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You
preserve my life; You stretch out your hand
against the anger of my foes, with Your right
hand you save me. ( Psalms 138:7 )

Now our Heavenly Father is always with us as well, and
just like David; God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. ( Psalms 46:1 )
So when troubles surround you; Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for
the Lord your God goes with you; He will never
leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)

So; Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the
God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our
troubles, so that we can comfort those in any
trouble with the comfort we ourselves have
received from God. Amen.
