Acts 6 & 7:1:60
Stephen; a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit. A chosen vessel of God by way of the Apostle Peter. Stephen did great wonders and signs among the people. The Word of God spread and the number of disciples multiplied in Jerusalem and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith, the preaching of Jesus Christ.

The old sect was turning, however, becau...se of jealousy and envy, again; some arose from the Synagogue of the Freedmen disputing Stephen. They were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which Stephen spoke. So they secretly induced men to say, "We have heard Stephen speak blasphemous words against Moses and God." So they stirred up the people, the elders and the scribes; and they brought Stephen before the council. They setup false witness against Stephen. However, the council looking stedfast at Stephen, saw his face as the face of an angel. (The glory of God shining on and through Stephen; Yes?) Then the high priests questioned Stephen of the accusations brought against Him.

Stephen spoke of father Abraham and his journeys in the Lord, according to the written, established text of the Old Testament. God gave Abraham a covenant of circumcision, from Isaac to Jacob; and Jacob begot the twelve patriarches. Joseph be sold into Egypt because of his brothers jealousy. Stephen continued his speaking, going through his own family and brothers to the birth of Moses, the life of Moses, the wilderness of Moses, and Moses return to Israel. God's favor upon Moses. And, Moses spoke to Israel.
"The Lord your God will raise up a Prophet like me from you brethren; Him shall ye hear."

Stephen continued to speak concerning Joshua, the land of the Gentiles, even David, who found favor before God and Solomon who built God a house. However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands.

Stephen spoke, "Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming on the Just One, of whom you have now become the betrayers and murderers, who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it."

When the high priests and elders heard these things they were cut to the heart and they gnashed at Stephen with their teeth.

Stephen seeing the glory of God and Jesus at His right hand in heaven said, "Look the heavens are opened."

The high priests cried out, stopped their ears, and ran at Stephen with one accord; they cast him out of the city and stoned Stephen to death.

Stephen, the first Christian martyr, was the chief of the seven (commonly called Deacons) appointed to rectify the complaints in the early Church of Jerusalem, made by the Hellenistic against the Hebrew Christians. His Greek name indicates his own Hellenistic origin. His importance is stamped on the narrative by a reiteration of emphatic, almost superlative phrases: "full of faith and of the Holy Ghost," Acts 6:5; "full of grace and power," 8; irresistible "spirit and wisdom," 10; "full of the Holy Ghost." Acts 7:55 He shot far ahead of his six companions, and far above his particular office. First, he arrests attention by the "great wonders and miracles that he did." Then begins a series of disputations with the Hellenistic Jews of north Africa, Alexandria and Asia Minor, his companions in race and birthplace. Stephen struck into a new vein of teaching, which evidently caused his martyrdom.

...Jesus spoke, "If they have done it to Me, they will do it to you." The high priest and elders sought to take Jesus life; not the Romans. They paid a disciple to betray Him and killed Jesus because of envy. They killed Stephen because of envy. They have killed every prophet that God has sent to them. How many more will die at the hands of those that claim to "believe", that claim they are the "kingdom of God"?

People have been lied to long enough. The truth is being revealed. Yes, you will not hear this preaching in your churches; because it is the truth. The devils stronghold is in the churches of this world. Hypocrisy comes from the inside and goes out; not the outside and goes in. Most people will not step foot in a church because, as I was told while inviting a older man, "they are blood thirsty and money hungry." This man spoke the truth. The high priest and elders have done the same to me. I have been called every name that is not Godly, by perhaps an ungodly congregation. I have been thrown out and the door slammed in my face. I have been falsely accused. I have been accused of saying I am Jesus; I have never done no such thing. Talk about spirits being convicted...wow. The world's evil I expect; but a church of "believers", I did not expect. God has introduced to me; the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen

There is an awakening happening through out all the world. God is separating the wheat from the chaff. His sheep from the goats. The axe is at the roots. The winepress is purging His floor. Do you know Him? Is He consuming your heart, mind, body and strength? How will your fruits fare when God sends a prophet into you? Are you ready for what is coming? Search your hearts; God will reveal the truth in your heart to you. Amen

All praise, glory and honor be to God. Amen.
