hello Jonah...I'll try.
Law is an expression of principals and rules for right doing as apposed to wrong doing. But Gos is nothing I can see, but an abbreviation for gospel; though it would have to have a period after it.
So i do not think it means anything as two words. But when I read them together they sound like the Greek word, Logos: "low gos" or "lawgos", so I think it just might be that you heard some one using the GK. word for sermon, message, or word: logos. It is the same word we use in science words like Biology, and it is the Gk. word for "WORD" used in the Bible as a name and title of Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God: Christ is the LOGOS (see John 1). This is the best I can come up with; I sure hope it helps. DGB
in the beginning was the LOGOS and the LOGOS was with God, and the LOGOS was God.
