Both the Old Testament and the New Testament testify that Jesus is God and from God and one with the Father.
NO man can die to take upon himself the sins of the world.
No man's death can make null and void the previous Covenant where YAHWEH was the husband and married to Israel.
Romans 7:1-6 explains why Jesus had to die in order to divorce himself from the old Covenant of the Law of Moses.

Romans 7:2 For the woman under a husband is bound by law to the living husband; but if the husband should die, she is discharged from the law of the husband.

Its you who are mistaken, a mortal man died. Mortals cannot kill God.

Genesis 19:24 Yahweh rained down from heaven upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Yahweh.
25 And he overthrew those cities and the whole plain, and the inhabitants of the cities and the vegetation of the ground.

Note the mention here of two YAHWEH, one in heaven who sends judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah at the bidding of the YAHWEH on earth. This gives significant evidence for more than one person in the Godhead.
Jehovah Witnesses counter with the argument that by making Jesus Jehovah, I am asserting the untruth that Jesus is the Father.
I suggest they listen or read more carefully: I am not asserting Jesus is the Father, but that at least two Persons in the Godhead are each called Jehovah in Scripture, and Jesus is clearly one of them. - notes from Jerome Smith

Our Lord's death on the Cross is a timeless unique event that is worthy of remembrance for no one else could have done it. So, we hold it close to our hearts with tears, and of joy as well for only through His sacrifice and through Him can we have been reconciled with God. You/JW/Catholics and I'm sure others would add conditions by which it would be received, in rejection of the Word of God. This belief that in placing restrictions and not self-reflective ones that you make it even more Holy to partake of! The similarities to the Mormons that say that their Book is "More Perfect" than the Word of God in truth like them diminishes that which you all seek to uplift. For in this Communion, we remember the sacrifice of His Body & Shed Blood of Christ our Lord and Savior! For there is no other! Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!!!

Rev 6--The ride of the white horse begins= righteous war- This was the war in heaven, Michael took that ride and defeated satan and his angels and cast them to the earth Rev 12 explains. Notice Rev 6:2-He receives his crown, only Jesus is getting the crown. Rev 19:11 the continuation of that ride, Jesus is shown leading Gods armies to the earth at Armageddon on the white horse. That ride does not end until Rev 20 is concluded i believe and this occurs-1Cor 15:24-28)
1Thess 4:16--Upon Jesus return, he comes with the trumpet of God( announcing the ride at Rev 6) and comes with the voice of the archangel) --it is his voice. It is Michael who stands up on behalf of Gods chosen in these last days-Daniel 12:1)
The prophecy in Daniel about the birth of Gods kingdom in heaven( he receives his crown) is 2520 years from the removal of the last king in Jerusalem=607 bce--607 + 2520=1914--Rev 6:4--And peace will be taken from the earth=1914 ww1. Because satan and his angels came angry, knowing their time was short. Filled mens hearts with hatred and millions were slaughtered. The other 3 riders rode as well. After ww1, millions upon millions died all over the earth from things mentioned of the other 3 riders, They estimate between 50-100 million died from the spanish flu alone, but many others died from starvation, etc.
Satans actual purpose of that war was to stop of the good news of Gods kingdom that had begun, door to door. No true follower of Jesus would ever stand on both sides of wars of hatred, ever. So those went to prision, the religious leaders were all arrested as well and thrown in prision. The preaching work was stopped, until 1919 when they were released from prision and it started back up.

So, either you are wrong concerning the significance of Jesus using covenant mentioned in Luke and who it specifically applies to, or Scripture is wrong in 1 Corinthians 11:25-29.

I'd rather put my faith in God's Word, that does not require the interjection of man to know it's meaning. So, you/JW keep accepting what man tells you it means, and I'll let the Holy Spirit provide me the understanding.

While the title of this thread is, The Last Supper, the content has been one JW attempt to teach false doctrine. For this reason the thread may soon be removed.

I think you owe the administrator an apology for misusing the benefits provided for you, (and all others) knowingly and perhaps deliberately.

You base your faith on teachings of the watchtower mob, who were corrupt from the start, rather than the life of Christ in you by faith. You are missing something far more wonderful than you will ever, ever, ever be able to comprehend through your own thinking and all teaching, anywhere. Unless you are born again, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
Come unto Jesus while you still can. Please look at the many other things in the New Testament that Jesus is recorded to say in offering Life to all who would believe.
Put aside the teaching you hold so dear and read the Bible as it is.
If you find it hard to do so, please understand that the fear that has been sowed into your mind is a deception. You are not the only person to have been deceived but you do not have to go to the grave in deception. The truth is there in the Bible, but until you put the JW teaching aside, you may never see it as you're reading is through JW glasses.
