14When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you and have taken possession of it and settled in it, and you say, “Let us set a king over us like all the nations around us,” 15be sure to appoint over you a king the Lord your God chooses. He must be from among your fellow Israelites. Do not place a foreigner over you, one who is not an Israelite. 16The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the Lord has told you, “You are not to go back that way again.” 17He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.

18When he takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this law, taken from that of the Levitical priests. 19It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the Lord his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees 20and not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites and turn from the law to the right or to the left. Then he and his descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel.

9“When you enter the land whichthe LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to [f]imitate the detestable things of those nations.10There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, a soothsayer, one who interpretsomens, or a sorcerer, 11or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who consults the dead. 12For whoever does thesethings is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestablethings the LORD your God is going to drive them out before you.13You are to be blameless beforethe LORD your God. 14For thesenations, which you are going to dispossess, listen to soothsayersand diviners, but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowedyou to do so.

15“The LORD your God will raiseup for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen; to him you shall listen. 16This is in accordance with everything that you asked of the LORD your Godat Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Do not let me hear the voice of the LORD my God again, and do not let me seethis great fire anymore, or I will die!’ 17And the LORD said to me, ‘They have [g]spoken well. 18I will raise up for them a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them everything that I command him.19And it shall come about that whoever does not listen to My words which he speaks in My name, I Myself will [h]require it of him. 20But the prophet who speaksa word presumptuously in My name, a word which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, https://biblehub.com/nasb_/deuteronomy/18.htm#fnthat prophet shall die.’ 21And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the wordwhich the LORD has not spoken?’22When the prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thingdoes not happen or come true, that is the thing which the LORDhas not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.

Jesus said in a story:

7And he said, ‘Then I requestof you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— 28for I havefive brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not come to this place of torment aswell.’ 29But Abraham *said, ‘They have [x]Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but ifsomeone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ 31But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

JESUS ROSE from The Grave”

King of Israel.

`Nathaniel answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel.” (John 1: 49)

The law of kingship under the Old Testament Covenant is very explicit. According to the divine law no stranger or foreigner was to be selected as King, but a brother of like nationality. Likewise no self-indulgent person or seeker of riches was permitted to reign.

The king was to be required to be familiar with the Scriptures and a seeker and follower of the truth. Moses told the people of Israel -

`You shall surely set a king over you whom the Lord your God chooses; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the Lord has said to you, “You shall not return that way again. Neither shall he multiply wives for himself, lest his heart turn away; nor shall he greatly multiply silver and gold for himself.”

Also it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book from the one before the priests, the Levites. And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear the Lord his God and be careful to observe all the words of this law and these statues,

that his heart may not be lifted above his brethren, that he may not turn aside from the commandment to the right hand or to the left, and that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children in the midst of Israel.` (Deut. 17: 15 - 20)

Jesus the `Just,` had every qualification and credential for kingship, according to the Law of Moses.

Jesus was divinely appointed King and anointed by deity. (Ps. 2: 1 - 7)

Jesus was born of the house of David, the tribe of Judah and the nation of Israel. He was one of the brethren of Israel. (Matt. 1: 1)

Jesus fulfilled the law of God. (Luke 4: 16 - 21)

Jesus had compassion for His brethren. (Matt. 9: 36)

No violation of the law was more glaring than when the leaders of Jewry shouted, “We have no king but Caesar.” (John 19: 15)

Christ Jesus was in full accord with every precept and prediction of the Word of God. He is the only one who fully magnified the law, glorified the truth, and ratified the promises; He genuinely beautified grace and finally dignified justice.

Your quote:
Jesus was divinely appointed King and anointed by deity. (Ps. 2: 1 - 7):eyes:

American Standard Version
Jesus therefore perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force, to make him king, withdrew again into the mountain himself alone.

Jesus is “Creator”, more than a mere king of This world” He is The One who sits up kings. He is The one That “Created kings”.

that is a insult! “He is “The CREATOR” of All That is Created. He is “The WORD of GOD” who took on Flesh and walked in it, He has The POWER to walk like a mere Man, and HE had The POWER to Step out of “His” Humanity into “His”“Divinity” For He Is “GOD” walking in The Flesh!

For There is Nothing That “GOD” cannot do, BUT He cannot Lie and Deny Himself.:pensive:

NASB 1977
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting, that I might not be delivered up to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”:pensive:

Now The Correct “Translation” of The Original Copied Manuscript”

American Standard Version
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end have I been born, and to this end am I come into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. :pensive:

“Jesus Christ” was not a king of This world, He is “The Creator” walking among His own Creation. And They didn’t even know who he was. Even Though He told Them, but no one believe Him. But they many wanted to make him a mere king.

[How can you make “GOD” a king]. That don’t even sound right:joy:
a earthy king at that.

New American Standard Bible
He came to His own, [creation] and His own [creation] people did not accept Him. :pensive:

So it was Then, and how so, greater, it is today.:pensive:

But The Day will come, when He cracks That Sky, And All Creation Is Going To “Shake” and All Are Going To Know That He Is “The SON of THE Living GOD” with All Power that is on Earth and Heaven, that was given unto Him by His FATHER.
For Jesus Christ is “GOD”! the Second Part of “The Triune GOD”.
:pensive:

Who is “ Nathaniel“ who is “Pilate” who’s are The Jews?

Now, Who is “Jesus The Anointed One of “GOD”?:pensive:

No argument here, But A declaration, Proclamation. Concerning “The Deity of The Christ of GOD”:pensive:

The Father `I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.` (Ps. 2: 6)

This refers to the glorified Son of God and Son of Man being given His own throne, (authority) by the Father in the third heaven. At the moment we know that the Lord Jesus Christ is on the Father`s throne, however there will come a time when He comes for His Body and takes them to the third heaven to rule and reign with Him on His own throne. (Rev. 3: 21)

`To him who over comes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. (Rev. 3: 21)

The Father is revealing that His Son is the Worthy One to take the judgment scroll and execute the judgments therein. The Son in His glorified body, visible for all to see is crowned and anointed by the Father.

In the Godhead the Son is equal to the Father, in unity and of the same mind. However in function there is a hierarchy.

Divine Procession.

Godhead - At the source there is the provision by the whole Godhead,

Father - with the initial movement of the Father;

Son - the administration of the Son;

Holy Spirit - and the direct agency of the Holy Spirit.

I agree -

THE KINGSHIP OF CHRIST

A king is the sovereign ruler of a nation with great power and authority. He is usually part of a royal family line and anointed by others in authority.

Now there is a sense in which Christ inherited the title `King,` from His identifying Himself with the house of David and the tribe of Judah in the nation of Israel. Such connections, however, do by no means fully explain His kingly power and royal nature.

His kingly authority is underived, His kingly majesty in unconferred, and His kingly glory unimparted on the basis of this world`s standards. Christ was King before the world began.

When manifested on earth as a man, Christ introduced into kingship, authority over unseen powers, disease and death, and the natural and moral realms. A new ministry of mercy and mediation for the needs of mankind was revealed. Also the laws of the universe were under the control of His omnipotent hand.

Christ`s dominion is eternal, He knows no successor and there can never be a usurper to undermine His throne of righteousness. His credentials as Ruler are complete; conqueror of sin and death. His capabilities as King are of the highest order; He lay down His life for mankind. All these qualifications are totally independent of earth`s temporal systems of legislation and administration.

Let`s look more into Christ the King and His wondrous 7 titles of Kingship.

King of Glory. (Ps. 24: 7)

King of heaven. (Dan. 4: 37)

King of the Ages. (1 Tim. 1: 17)

King of Righteousness. (Heb. 7: 1 – 3)

King of the Jews. (Matt. 2: 2)

King of Israel. (John 1 : 49)

King Priest. (Heb. 6: 20)

King of the Nations. (Rev. 15: 3)

And finally King of Kings..... (Rev. 19: 16)

“Marilyn” is that not a Song? Written by a song writer and place in a Book?

“The Father `I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”` (Ps. 2: 6)

Sometimes or most of the time, you have to really get into The Spirit of The Song. And yes The “ Psalmist can be “Prophetic”. Oh yes!

“The Lord is My Shepherd and I have no other Need”

Can The Holy Scriptures be complicated? Of Course at Times, yes. that is Why we must “Meditate and Pray over Them at All times. “When we walk in The Day, at noon day, in the evening and as we lie down at night.

“lord Teach me thy word.” Lord give me understanding of your Truth and not my own, Clothe me Lord in Righteousness” and Teach me how to Fear you, in “Godly fear”.:pensive:

This is our daily walk with GOD, as The Paracletos walk in beside us.

It seems like you have Not even given a Hint to how I address The Deity of Christ. And you have went to Great lengths to Ignore “The Preeminence of “Christ Jesus” our LORD.and Chosen to completely “Humanize Him” instead Of Glorifying him as LORD.

That is what I was taught. As with all of us we are taught and thus share the combined revelation the Holy Spirit clarifies over the centuries.

Mmmm not really good to judge another whether they have been broken.

I have the God right to Judge, the Bible has Never Told A Child of The Living could not to judge, but translations have out of Context.

sorry, I was not judging,at this time.
I did use the word “Sense”.:pensive: [smell]. Aroma, Theologically speaking, or Like The Wood smelled like Peanuts burning.

I think that means to discern. To Judge, has the connotation of declaring guilty and then giving a sentence. What say you?
And thanks for the not judging, (this time).
